The improvement of teachers' research ability is the requirement of teacher learning in the new era and the need to cultivate students' core competencies.It also opens up a new path to promote teachers' professional development.Teachers' learning and research ability improving are facing various problems,of which the one-dimensional training and improving method,as well as the insufficient motivation for training are becoming more and more common.The research results of Teacher's Learning Community at home and abroad provide a new opportunity for the improvement of teachers' research ability.As a new type of Teacher's Learning Community,Teacher's Workshop can promote middle school teachers' research ability,whose strategies are worth exploring.Therefore,it is of extremely practical significance to be exposed to middle school teachers,investigate the current situation of teachers' research ability as well as discover the problems existing in the construction and operating of teacher's workshops.And proposing strategies to enhance middle school teachers' research ability becomes a necessity.This research takes the in-service teachers of PY Middle School as the research object,in which it uses several main research methods,including literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,action research method and case study method.This study follows the overall thinking of discovering problems,analyzing the causes of problems,and proposing solutions to problems.Based on the connotation of theories of“Learning Community” and “Learning Organization”,this study focuses on the literature review of the research both at home and abroad and summarizes the research results of Teacher Learning Community,Teacher's Workshop as well as the improvement of teachers' research ability.It defines relevant concepts of research such as “Teacher's Workshop” and“Teachers' Research ability”.The research takes 21 well-built teacher's workshops in PY Middle School as the research base,of which two sample surveys are conducted to do the research,with 78 questionnaires back(108 questionnaires in total).Based on the connotation of middle school teachers' research ability,Survey 1 is designed as the questionnaire of the current situation of “The research ability of the teachers from teacher's workshops in PY Middle school”,aiming at forming an accurate understanding of the current situation ofteachers' research ability as well as get a better understanding of the problems and confusions.Based on the four dimensions of the construction of teacher's workshop,Survey2 is a questionnaire about the investigation of the strategies of the enhancement of“Teacher's workshop” on teachers' research ability.The questionnaires collected are analyzed using data statistics and SPSS data analysis is conducted analyzing the reliability of the questionnaire.According to the results of the two surveys,combining the interview results of the sample teachers,the research analyses and summarizes the problems existing in the promotion of teachers' research ability based on teacher's workshop.The participation frequency of “Creating a Shared Aspiration” is not high,and the goal of enhancing research ability is not clear.Besides,the time of “joint learning and application” is not regular and the content of teaching and research activities is not specific.In addition,the content of “shared resources and achievements” is not targeted,and the sharing of teaching and research results is one-dimensional.Worse still,the effect of“common reflection and growth” is not obvious,and how to improve teachers' research ability is still a question.Accordingly,the research also points out the corresponding analysis of the causes.On the basis of the analysis of the problems and causes,the research puts forward four strategies for the promotion of middle school teachers' research ability based on teacher's workshop,including the focus on the procedure of “creating a common vision”,refining the goal of improving teachers' research ability,the combination of theory and practice as well as regular conduct of thematic learning.What's more,strengthening the construction of the resource library of teacher's workshops,demonstrating the results of teaching and research in multiple dimensions and strengthening the management of teacher's workshops as well as effective guidance of the enhancement of teachers' research ability are strategies put forward.The study reviews and summarizes the content,and meanwhile points out the shortcomings of the research as well as puts forward the prospect of the research.
