Educational practice is an important link in teacher education and training,and the quality of educational practice is related to the quality of teacher education personnel training in universities.In recent years,the Ministry of Education has issued various programs to strengthen the educational practice of normal students to guide universities to carry out different degrees of reform of educational practice,but educational practice is still an educational task for the cultivation of normal students in universities.Be lack of substantive attention to the normal student engagement in the process of educational practice.With the comprehensive implementation of teacher major certification,universities need to ensure that the process and results of educational practice can pass the certification,so the process and result of normal student engagement in educational practice should become the concern of universities.Based on the theory of learning in the workplace,the measurement dimension of normal school student engagement in the educational practice is constructed,which includes activities in educational practice,direct guidance,indirect guidance,engagement in educational practice and result of engagement of normal school students.This study uses literature analysis,questionnaire and interview and the senior students who participated in the educational practice of G University in Guangdong Province were selected as the subjects of investigation.It probes into the internal and external factors affecting the quality of educational practice learning of normal school students.The study have shown that the external influencing factors of process student engagement includes the goal of practice activities,the time of educational practice,the situation of practice,the type of practice school and practice activities,the guidance of teachers of practice schools,the guidance of teachers led by universities,and the indirect guidance provided by the workplace of educational practice.;and results the external factors affecting the quality of learning include the goal of practice activities,the situation of practice,the type practice activities,the guidance of teachers of practice schools,the guidance of teachers led by universities,and the indirect guidance provided by the workplace of educational practice.;The internal influencing factors of educational practice learning quality include emotional input,cognitive input and behavioral input.Based on the analysis of the above factors,the causes of the problems are as follows: insufficient organizational preparation for student engagement in the educational practice workplace;dual tutor system is more in name than in reality for lack of standard instruction;inner impetus of normal student engagement are insufficient;the evaluation of normal student engagement is subjective.Therefore,the following countermeasures can be obtained: adjusting learning goals in the educational practice workplace;establishing and improving student engagement assurance mechanism of educational practice in the workplace;establishing evaluation system in the educational practice workplace.
