In the era of the explosion of knowledge and information,the reform of physics education in middle schools has reached a critical period of development,and educational research is the key factor in guiding the direction of reform and ensuring the reform process.The achievements in the field of physics education in middle schools are showing a trend of rapid growth.The research results emerge one after another,showing a blowout growth.Only taking China knowledge Infrastructure Engineering(CNKI)as an example,there have been as many as 20922 literatures on physics education in middle schools since the reform and opening up to the outside world.Only using qualitative research,time-consuming and energy-consuming,on the other hand,it is difficult to extract accurate research results of middle school physics education from these overloaded information.So this research uses the scientific metrology research method to excavate the text information,uses the visualization software to draw the middle school physics education knowledge graph,will this subject research present situation,the research community,the research hot spot and the evolution trend,the research current situation,the research community,the research hot spot and the evolution trend,The frontiers and so on are more intuitively displayed.From 2009 to 2019,the core journals of "Middle School Physics","Junior Middle School Physics" and "Senior High School Physics" and the CSSCI source periodicals were selected as the research object of the database of China knowledge Network,which is called Middle School Physics,Junior Middle School Physics and Senior High School Physics.Based on the analysis of the changes in the number of papers published in the core of physics education research in middle schools in China,it is found that the number of papers published in 2017 and 2018 has decreased for two consecutive years.The paper also compares the change trend between the annual and total publication volume of the core journals in the research field of physics education in middle schools,and shows that the proportion of the core journals and the total annual publications shows a declining trend and the quality of the papers decreases.This paper studies the composition of the research subjects of physics education in middle schools through the analysis of the author,the author and the source of periodicals.The results show that the research institutions are: Nanjing normal University,Shaanxi normal University,Capital normal University,Beijing normal University not only ranks in the first place in the total volume of publications,but also in the number of core journals.Research authors: Liu Maojun,Liu Huilianand Xiao Li formed a cohesive group of educational and scientific research groups in the field of physics education in middle schools.Guo Yuying,Wu Wei,Three scholars of Ma Yapeng are important scholars in the field of physics education in middle school.Periodicals: "middle school physics teaching reference" the number of papers ranked first;By drawing the co-occurrence map of key words and combining word frequency and centrality,this paper interprets the research hotspots in the field of physics education in middle schools in China,and finds out the concepts of physics,physics experiments,teaching strategies,high school physics,junior high school physics,and so on.The key words such as curriculum standard are the research hot spot,the high school physics appearance frequency is the highest;By analyzing the abrupt words and combining the catastrophe history curve with the content analysis method,the prominent history curve of the key words,such as physics concept,physics teacher and so on,shows a decreasing trend in general,which belongs to the research front of the decline type.The stable development of key words such as teaching design,physics teaching material in senior high school belongs to the research frontier of flat type in the fluctuation.Core literacy is the frontier of middle school physics education research in our country,and it has the rising research heat,which will become the development trend of the future research.It is hoped that through the text mining work of this study,we can get an insight into the knowledge picture of the development of physics education in middle schools and draw valuable information,so as to provide constructive suggestions for the development of physics education in middle schools in China.
