Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China's economy and the acceleration of the urbanization process,rural areas located at the edge of cities have been gradually included in the urban map.At the same time,more and more rural elderly people have moved out of rural areas to settle down in cities under the implementation of the policy of "village relocation".Special urban and rural dual system in our country and the smallholder farmers' thoughts,let the home village changed new community elderly people in the face of the living environment,living habits,interpersonal relationship,the great changes in aspects such as concept,physical,psychological and social aspects of social adaptation,this to a certain extent,affect the quality of life for the elderly.In addition,at present,there are few relevant researches on the social adaptation of the elderly in the "village resettlement" new community in China,and there is a lack of practical experience in solving or improving the social adaptation of the elderly in the "village resettlement" new community.Therefore,it is necessary to study the social adaptation of the elderly in the new community.Starting from the research perspective of social work,this paper adopts the group work method to intervene in the social adaptation of the elderly in the new community of "village resettlement",so as to explore a reasonable way to improve or solve this problem in the specific practical operation process and build a bridge for the elderly in the new community of "village resettlement" to adapt to urban life.Therefore,the author deeply into the home village changed new community elderly people in a special social group,using the research methods of questionnaire and interview to shenyang G community elderly physical,psychological,economic,social,entertainment,leisure and other aspects of social adaptation condition investigation,through analysis,the result of the survey data to understand the community "village changed" the old man of society to adapt to the situation.At the same time,the author on the demand level,edge Angle,activities,under the guidance of theory of "the home village changed" new community needs assessment in the elderly,designed to carry out the "village changed" new community social adaptation in the elderly group,through six team activities conducted to help team members find community sense of belonging,to build confidence for future life,rich old people in later life,improve the elderly face the new environment of social adaptation ability,increase their happiness.In the process of group activities,the author also paid attention to the application of the basic skills of group work,in addition to the use of connection,synthesis,summary and other skills to promote the work of the group,prevent and limit the intervention skills of the work of the group and the treatment of different types of group members.Finally,the author proposes corresponding countermeasures for the social adaptation of the elderly in the "village resettlement" from five aspects,including government,community,family,the elderly individual and social work,in order to help the elderly in the "village resettlement" new community adapt to the new life faster and better.
