Experimental instruction is an important part of physics,chemistry and biology instruction in middle school,It plays an important role in cultivating students' practical ability,innovative spirit,scientific literacy and realizing the purpose of socialist education in China.In recent years,As the government has continued to focusing on public education and the implementation of a series of related policies,which has made some achievements in the development of rural education,the improvement of rural students'living and learning condition,the better treatment of rural teachers,and the improvement of the structure in rural teaching system.However,there are a few researches on the present situation of rural junior middle school experimental teaching in our country.Therefore,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to study the current situation of experimental instruction in rural junior middle schools.Based on this,this paper selects ten rural junior middle schools in Fuping County Shaanxi Province as samples,through field visits,questionnaires and interviews,the author analyzes the current situation of experimental instruction.In this paper,based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign experimental instruction of middle school,it states the research background and significance of the research,the concept of the experimental instruction.Then,it introduces the theoretical basis of the experimental instruction in middle school,including Marx's theory of human's comprehensive development,constructivism instruction theory and so on.The experimental instruction is of great significance in the development of middle school students' moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor.Through the investigation on the present situation of the experimental instruction of our samples,it shows that China has made certain achievements in rural junior middle school experimental instruction in the aspects of objective conditions,the construction of teachers,the teachers' understanding of the experimental construction,and the attention the schools have paid to the experiment teaching.But the study also found that there are still many problems existing in rural junior middle school experimental teaching:the objective conditions of experimental teaching still needs to be improved,the existing conditions can't meet the students' needs of experiment and inquiry experiment.Experimental technicians have not worked professionally and full-time.Most of the experimental staff lack of professional background and knowledge,or the work of the laboratory have been done by the physical,chemical,biology teacher part-time.The gap between the education concept and the instruction practice of teachers,teachers pay more attention to the experimental instruction which is associated with the examination of the mastery of content,and students' metacognitive ability,inquiry ability and social ability have got relatively a little attention.In the experimental instruction,the teachers mainly depend on the instruction materials and the instruction reference books,but the development and utilization of the curriculum resources,such as the excellent course cases,the school-based curriculum resources,the network resources are under exploitation and use.The experimental instruction lacks scientific evaluation system which evaluation methods use paper and pencil test,and there are few experimental operation test.Besides,the school management consciousness is backward,for example the experimental operation can only be carried out in the experimental class,students in the daily learning can not enter the laboratory freely.In order to improve the quality of experimental instruction in rural junior middle schools,the paper puts forward suggestions for the educational administrative department,rural junior middle school and rural junior middle school teachers.Education departments should continue to promote the construction of rural teachers,the implementation of teacher training for rural professional dedication and continued growth and development of teachers;To increase experimental teaching funds,so as to guarantee the students'independent experiment and inquiry experiment;To establish a scientific evaluation system of experimental instruction.The rural junior middle schools should also be proactive and constantly improve the management level of education and make full use of existing educational resources to improve the experimental instruction conditions;Laboratory can timely open to the students;The size of class should be reasonably controlled.Teachers are the key factors influencing the quality of experimental instruction,they ought to develop and use curriculum resources in the instruction practice,especially the local curriculum resources;Besides,they should strengthen instruction research and encourage innovation in instruction,especially in the experimental instruction,educational theory and practice between the effective transformation,students in the experimental course in learning.
