The experiment,as an important part of physics,plays an important role in teaching.Since the implementation of “New Curriculum Reform”,the Ministry of Education has focused more attention on improving scientific quality of primary and middle school students,optimizing the allocation of educational resources,promoting the balanced development of education and improving the quality of rural physics experiment teaching.But,at present,for some reason,quite a few rural junior middle schools fail to carry out the experiment teaching in accordance with the provisions of the new curriculum,hindering the all-round development of students.In this sense,it is necessary to investigate and study the current situation of physical experiments in the rural junior middle schools.In this paper,taking 11 rural junior middle schools in Lingyuan City as the research object,the authors investigated and analyzed the current situation of physics experiment teaching in rural junior middle schools,attaining the enlightenment on the local physics experiment teaching.In this paper,first,the existing researches were briefly introduced,and the literature review on the background of the current research and the research status home and abroad was given,and the purpose and significance of the researches on the current situation of physical experiments in the rural junior middle school in Lingyuan city were pointed out.Secondly,the preliminary investigation on the physical experiment conditions in this region was conducted in order to make first-phase preparations for the in-depth understanding and analysis of the current situation of physical experiment teaching in the rural junior high schools in Lingyuan City.Thirdly,the questionnaires,on-the-spot investigation,interviews and other methods were used to investigate the implementation of physical experiments in the rural junior middle schools in Lingyuan.The study and analysis were conducted mainly from three aspects: teachers' awareness of importance of physical experiments,specific experimental courses and causes for problems,and remedial measures taken by the teachers when encountering obstacles in the experiment implementation process.The purpose was to obtain the in-depth understanding of the current situation of physics experiment teaching in rural junior middle schools in Lingyuan city.Finally,some cases in which the physics teachers in the local junior middle schools made teaching aids by themselves to compensate for the shortage of the existing experimental instruments were selected for demonstration and evaluation so as to attain the enlightenments on the physics experiment teaching in the rural junior middle schools in Lingyuan.
