Research On College Students' Filial Piety Cultural Identit

The ancients said,“All kindness and filial piety are the first.” Filial piety is one of the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation,and it is the ethical morality that the Chinese nation esteems and observes.The filial piety culture has formed the main contents of“doing good to parents”,“respecting parents”,“bearing offspring”,“thanksgiving and feeding back”,“cherishing diligence and thrift” and “standing up for fame”in the historical development.Looking at traditional filial piety culture from a dialectical point of view,it has not only positive aspects such as cultivating college students' patriotic gratitude,self-esteem,self-respect and responsibility consciousness,and promoting the harmony of interpersonal relationships,but also negative aspects such as foolish loyalty,foolish filial piety and emphasizing the authority of parents.To strengthen the study of excellent filial piety culture and enhance the recognition of excellent filial piety culture is conducive to improving the ideological and moral quality of college students,inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture,promoting the harmony of interpersonal relationships among college students,and promoting the sense of national identity and social responsibility of college students.Through consulting the literature,and using questionnaires and interviews to study the situation of college students' filial piety culture identity,I found that college students have clear understanding of filial piety culture and positive attitude towards filial piety culture.At the same time,I also found that college students still have different knowledge and practice of filial piety,weak ability to perform filial piety,and low willingness to perform filial piety.In view of the problems existing in college students' filial piety culture identity,this paper makes an analysis of the reasons from the aspects of college students themselves,family environment,college filial piety culture education and social environment.Specifically,these reasons include the immature physical and mental development of college students and obvious egocentrism;the negative influence of parents,the weakening of family filial piety education function,the weakening of family inter-generational emotions;the deviation of university education concept,the single teaching form,the teaching effect is not obvious;the impact of Western culture,the impact of market economy,the impact of urbanization process and so on.College students' filial piety cultural identityis related to their own cultural and moral cultivation,interpersonal relations,school education atmosphere and social harmony environment,so it is necessary to study college students' filial piety cultural identity.This paper puts forward four measures to strengthen college students' filial piety culture identity,that is,parents shoulder the responsibility of family filial piety culture education,colleges and universities to strengthen filial piety culture education,college students pay attention to learning and practicing filial piety culture,and society to create a good atmosphere for inheriting filial piety culture,etc.
