With the development of mobile Internet technology and the popularization of mobile network equipment,mobile new media has become the main source of information for college students.Sports short video,as a new media for sports information,has also been widely popularized due to its "short,flat,fast" characteristics.It has become a part of college students' daily learning and life,and it has caused college students 'own motivation and physical behavior for physical exercise.influences.In recent years,the research on new media and sports has gradually increased,but there are few studies on sports short videos,and most of them are research on the communication and marketing of sports short videos.Although it has been demonstrated in research that mobile new media has a positive impact on college students 'sports awareness,sports motivation,and sports behavior,research on the impact of short sports videos on them is relatively weak,especially the use of short sports videos on college students' physical exercise Research on the impact of motivation is even more scarce.This study used literature data method,questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method.Through the design of the questionnaire of "Sports Short Video Use Status" and the "Sports Exercise Motivation for College Students" scale compiled by Chen Shanping,10 universities in Shandong Province Of 1103 college students surveyed and explored the relationship between the current status of the use of short sports videos and the motivation of college students to exercise and their impact,to test the proposed research hypothesis and to analyze and discuss.The study mainly produced the following results:(1)74.1% of the respondents used the sports short video after 18:00 or there was no fixed time period;72% of the respondents used it for a single use within 60 minutes;85.5% of the respondents continued to use The duration of the sports short video is within one year.(2)The status quo of the use of sports short videos has a positive and significant effect on college students' motivation for physical exercise(0.000?p <0.05).The five dimensions of the status quo of the use of short sports videos,use channels,use scenarios,use preferences,use interaction,and use effects all have a positive and significant effect on the overall motivation of physical exercise for college students(0.000?p <0.05).(3)The current status of the use of sports short videos has a positive and significant impact on the following dimensions of physical exercise motivation.Among them,use pathways and use preferences have a positive and significant effect on ability motivation,health motivation,institutional motivation,and compliance motivation(p <0.05);use scenarios,use preferences,use effects on fun motivation,appearance motivation,health motivation,system Motivation has a positively significant effect(p <0.05);use pathways have a positively significant effect on fun motivation and social motivation,use interaction on obedience motivation,and use effect on ability motivation(p <0.05).(4)The current status of the use of sports short videos does not have a positively significant effect on the following dimensions of physical exercise motivation.Among them,the use route does not have a positive significance effect on appearance motivation(p <0.05);the use scenario does not have a positive significance effect on ability motivation,social motivation,obedience motivation(p <0.05);use preference has fun motivation,Appearance motivation and institutional motivation have no positive significance(p <0.05);use interaction has no positive significance on ability motivation and health motivation(p <0.05);use effect has no positive significance on health motivation and obedience motivation Significant impact(p> 0.05).The study reached the following conclusions:(1)The status quo of college students' use of short sports videos and the motivation of physical exercise are generally at a medium level,and the scores in various dimensions are at a moderate or moderately high level.(2)The difference in college students' gender,grade,major,and student origin makes their use of sports short videos different from the overall and various dimensions of physical exercise motivation.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between the current status of college students' use of short sports videos and physical exercise motivation,and there is a moderate degree of correlation between each dimension of the status quo of short sports video use and the overall motivation of physical exercise.(4)The status quo of the use of sports short videos for college students has a positive and significant impact on the overall motivation of physical exercise.The current status of the use of sports short videos has a decreasing effect on the overall motivation of physical exercise: the use scenario> use effect> use Interaction> Usage Path> Preferences.
