With the advent of the era of intelligence,Artificial Intelligence is gradually integrated into junior high school information technology courses,and it is an inevitable trend that the proportion of Artificial Intelligence knowledge increases.STEAM education can better cultivate students' comprehensive quality,which is helpful for Artificial Intelligence teaching.The establishment of Artificial Intelligence courses in junior middle schools can help students better adapt to the information society,provide them with more choices in future study and employment,and promote the cultivation of national innovative talents and seize the opportunity of Artificial Intelligence.However,Artificial Intelligence education is still in its initial stage of development,and further discussion is still needed on how to reasonably apply STEAM concept in junior high school Artificial Intelligence courses.First of all,the author expounds the background and significance of the research on Artificial Intelligence curriculum in junior high school based on STEAM.Through literature research,the research status at home and abroad is sorted out and clarified,and the research content,methods and ideas are determined.Secondly,relevant concepts and theoretical basis are determined,and the teaching objectives,teaching contents and principles of teaching evaluation are analyzed and summarized.On the basis of theoretical analysis,the teaching model of Artificial Intelligence in junior high school based on STEAM is constructed by means of experimental research.Teaching cases are designed according to the teaching mode.Students in grade 7 of Rizhao X Middle School are selected as the research objects to carry out teaching practice.Surveys are conducted through questionnaires and interview Outlines.According to the analysis of the survey results,students approve of the Artificial Intelligence course based on STEAM,and gain a lot from the course.Students have a high degree of cognition,learning initiative,cooperation ability and innovative thinking.In general,students have a high degree of recognition of the course.It is expected to continue to verify and promote the teaching mode of Artificial Intelligence in the follow-up research,enhance the applicability of the teaching mode for students in different regions and grades,find and solve problems through application,and improve teaching resources by combining the cooperation support inside and outside the classroom and inside the school.
