Teacher research is an important part of educational research,especially research on teachers' professional identity.Since the 1980 s,teachers 'professional identity has received extensive attention from foreign scholars.Teachers' professional identity has played an important role in teacher education and professional development.However,teachers in many countries have a tendency towards job burnout,and China is no exception.Some studies have shown that a considerable number of teachers have difficulty maintaining interest and enthusiasm for teaching,and even doubt whether teaching is the right choice to realize its value.As a result,these teachers either go to great lengths to find available environments and spaces to help them better realize their self-worth,or leave their current positions or even leave their professions altogether.Teachers' professional identity has an important impact on their careers.In China,there are studies on the professional identity of teachers who teach subjects such as mathematics,English,physicochemical students,etc.that are included in the college entrance examination.Professional identity of technical teachers.This study uses the literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to study the professional identity of 58 general technical teachers in 23 high schools in Mianyang.The main research questions include:(1)What is the general status of general technical teachers' professional identity in Mianyang? ?(2)What is the professional identity of high-tech general technical teachers in the context of individual differences?(3)What are the factors that affect the professional identity of general technical teachers?Through the analysis of SPSS 20.0 and Execl software statistics and interview results,the research results show that: Firstly,general high-tech teachers in Mianyang area have a strong professional identity.The questionnaire includes four dimensions,namely role value,professional behavior tendency,professional value and professional belonging.According to the data results,the average score of the entire questionnaire is 3.527.Secondly,due to individual differences in teaching years,job titles,gender,etc.,the professional identity of general technical teachers in high schools also varies.There is no significant difference in professional identity between male and female teachers;teachers with longer teaching years have a stronger sense of professional identity than teachers with lower teaching years;teachers with higher titles have a stronger sense of professional identity than teachers with lower titles.Teachers with higher monthly income have a stronger sense of professional identity than teachers with lower monthly income.Third,the research results show that the influencing factors of general technical teachers' professional identity are the number of years of teaching experience,title and monthly income.Lower monthly incomes,lower professional titles,and shorter teaching years can result in weaker teachers' professional identity.This research has theoretical and practical significance.Theoretically,by investigating the professional identity of general technical teachers in high schools in Mianyang,the influencing factors can be determined,and the field of professional identity of general technical teachers in middle schools can be enriched and expanded.In practice,knowing the general situation of general technical teachers in high schools in Mianyang will help strengthen teachers 'efficient teaching and students' efficient learning,thereby improving the quality of education.Four suggestions were made specifically: first,at the general level of general technical teachers,first of all,they must improve their professional identity by enhancing internal motivation,secondly,they must continue to learn,and then maintain lifelong learning to enhance their professional identity.Secondly,at the government and school level,governments and schools at all levels should take good care of teachers.First,they must appropriately increase teachers' income so that they can be free from physical needs.Second,they must pay attention to their mental health and guide teachers to actively Upgrading and enhancing their professional identity;Third,at the social level,the positive influence of value orientation and cultural traditions on the professional identity of students and teachers should be brought into play to improve teachers' social status and social value.
