With the coming of information age,all kinds of information that people need or don’t need is coming to people in geometric progression.The large quantity,the complex content and the fast speed of information make people overwhelmed.The information age is also a challenge to human reading ability.Reading is specific to Chinese teaching,which can receive a large amount of information in a short time and grasp the general idea of the material quickly,form the ability to quickly capture,screen,extract and process the required information,and refine to "skimming" this reading method.Similarly,it is reflected in the skimming text teaching in Chinese teaching.First of all,according to the needs of students’ reading ability,the requirements of the new curriculum reform and other practical background,this study determines the teaching of skimming text in the third period as the research subject,collects relevant domestic and foreign materials,and further clarifies the relevant concepts of skimming text teaching.This paper analyzes the arrangement and characteristics of the third period skimming text based on the newly implemented departmental textbook.Secondly,through literature research,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview,the author investigates the current situation of skimming text teaching in the third learning section of primary school Chinese and analyzes it.The author finds that there are cognitive deviation,lack of operability in goal setting,improper selection of teaching content and implementation in skimming text teaching Cheng can’t grasp the characteristics of class type.Finally,through the analysis and arrangement of relevant data to understand the current situation of skimming text teaching in the third learning section,and analyze the problems and causes,and put forward the corresponding strategies: in terms of cognition,we should strengthen the theoretical study of skimming text teaching,create excellent lessons for sharing;in terms of goal setting,we should pay attention to the characteristics of the text,grasp the quantity and rationalization of difficulty,and through preview In the aspect of content selection,the content is determined based on the unit as a whole,the two-way combination of skimming texts and the emphasis on standard knowledge;in the aspect of the characteristicsof the course type,the four aspects are implemented,i.e.the teaching method of supporting and giving attention to,the guidance of the way of silent reading and the expansion in and out of class on the basis of the text,so as to serve as the front-line primary school Chinese teachers in skimming texts teaching Some references are provided.
