Reading teaching is not only to teach students reading knowledge,but also to enable students to gradually develop the ability of independent reading and autonomous learning.The textbook of the unified edition divides reading selections into intensive reading texts and skimming texts.Absolutely,the two different text types have different objectives and functions in teaching.Intensive reading text is mainly to help students obtain reading knowledge and reading skills.Through the intensive reading,students can understand the theoretical knowledge related to the language elements of the unit.Skimming text is a practical training place for the application of theory,which is to let students transfer and apply the skills and knowledge they have learned in intensive reading texts through autonomous learning,so as to gradually cultivate students' ability of independent reading and autonomous learning.At the same time,skimming the text is also a bridge to guide students from reading in class to reading outside of class,which can help students improve their reading interest and broaden their reading horizons,from reading a text to reading a book.It can be seen that the skimming text plays a very important role in the unified edition of the textbook,which is as important as the intensive reading text.However,in the current skimming text teaching,many teachers do not understand the function and value of skimming text,and do not deal with the relationship between skimming text and intensive reading text,which leads to many problems in teaching.For example,the skimming text is treated as intensive reading text,or the skimming text is taught too briefly due to insufficient interpretation of the curriculum standard.Some teachers can realize the function and value of skimming text,but they do not teach according to the related theory in practice,resulting in a disconnect between theory and practice.In view of these problems,this study takes the unified edition of teaching materials as an example,adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and action research method,combined with the author's practical learning experience in primary school,analyzes and explores the skimming text teaching in middle and high sections of primary school.This thesis aims to provide reasonable implementation strategies and improvement suggestions,and tries to explore the mode of skimming text,hoping to provide some reference for the teaching practice of front-line teachers.This thesis is divided into five parts: the first part is introduction,through the literature review at home and abroad,expounds the research background,research significance,research content,research outline,and research methods.The second is an overview of the relevant concepts of primary school Chinese skimming text teaching,mainly defines several key concepts,and understands the characteristics of skimming text from the relationship between skimming text and intensive reading text and the function and value of skimming text.At the same time,it also has an in-depth understanding of skimming text according to the expressions in curriculum standards and textbooks.The third is about the investigation and analysis of the current situation of skimming text teaching,mainly from the aspect of both teachers and students to understand the real situation of skimming text teaching,through analyzing and summarizing,there are three major problems in primary school skimming text teaching: Firstly,misunderstanding about concepts related to skimming text.Secondly,misunderstanding at the level of implementation of skimming text.Thirdly,the disconnection between theoretical understanding and practical teaching.On the basis of this,there are some specific problems in teaching,such as unclear teaching objectives,improper design of content and improper teaching methods.The author thinks that the main reasons for these problems are teachers' insufficient understanding of curriculum standards,lack of deep study of teaching materials,insufficient teaching and researching activities,and inadequate training on unified edition of teaching materials.Besides,the Exam-oriented education environment is also an influencing factor of these problems.The fourth is to carry out teaching practice research on the problems existing in the skimming text teaching of middle and high section in primary schools.Two texts of middle and high section were selected respectively.Starting from the teaching concept,teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods and the design and implementation procedures of the teaching process,the implementation path of the skimming text teaching of middle and high section in primary schools was explored through trial teaching.Fifthly,on the basis of the combination of theory and practice in the first three chapters,this paper evaluates the teaching effect of the two previous teaching trials,and provides relevant suggestions on the teaching strategies of skimming texts.Through the theoretical test and practical feedback,it hopes to give some implications to teachers in skimming texts teaching.For various reasons,the skimming texts teaching may not have become a common concern among teachers.Through practice teaching,questionnaire and interview,the author hopes to provide help for front-line teachers and contribute to the reform of skimming texts teaching.
