Homework is considered a common and well-known educational activity in schools in the world.From an international perspective,compared to American teachers,Chinese teachers think homework is more important than American teachers.More help is given in homework.For this reason,Chinese teachers pay more attention to the arrangement of homework for students,which is followed by more attention in homework by the education community.In addition,in terms of research,many Chinese and foreign literatures have been analyzed.Homework has an important impact on students' academic performance.However,more studies in China only focus on some superficial conditions such as the amount and time of homework,and rarely study the factors that affect many aspects of homework from a psychological perspective.From the perspective of the course,the study of mathematics homework is particularly important because of its importance in the entrance examination,practicality in life,and practice in the learning process.The study selected 505 students from the first and second grades as subjects to analyze the internal mechanism of mathematics homework and students' gender,perceived quality of homework,and effort.Study 1: The characteristics of junior high school students of different genders and grades on the degree of mathematics homework effort and the perceived quality of homework;Study 2: The correlation between students' perception of the quality of mathematics homework and the degree of homework effort;Study 3: Analysis of the differences in mathematics achievement by different parents 'education and economic status;Study 4: whether students' gender,perceived quality of homework,effort level of mathematics homework,economic status,parental education and other variables have significant predictive effects on mathematics achievement.What is the predictive power?For the above research,two questionnaires will be used.The questionnaire revised by the domestic researcher Zhang Junchao(2008)on the "Middle School Student Math Homework Efforts Questionnaire" compiled by German scholar Trautwein and others is divided into homework initiative,attention There are three dimensions of focus,homework completion rate,including 8 items,and the internal consistency coefficient a of the revised questionnaire is 0.757.The results of the above measurement attributes test show that the questionnaire structure is reasonable and has good internal consistency with stability,it can be used as a tool for studying junior high school students' mathematics homework effort.The second questionnaire uses the "Homework Scale for Perceived Mathematics for Junior Middle School Students" compiled by German scholar Dettmers(2010)and others.It is divided into two dimensions of homework selection and homework challenge.It contains 9 items.In order to make it localized for a smallscale test,the internal consistency coefficient a of the questionnaire is 0.715,which also has good internal consistency and stability.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Different grades and grades of junior high school students have different mathematics homework efforts.From the grade point of view,students in junior sophomores score higher on math homework efforts than those in grade one.There are also significant differences from a gender perspective.Girls are significantly more proactive in doing math and homework than boys,while they are significantly lower in focus and completion than boys.However,there was no significant gender difference in perceived homework quality.(2)In the correlation analysis,it was found that the economic status of the family was negatively related to both mathematics achievement and mathematics homework effort.In addition,it was also found that mathematics homework effort and perceived homework quality and mother education were positively related to mathematics achievement.Really understand the utility brought by homework and think it is useful for improving one's mathematical ability,then invest more effort in mathematical homework to achieve good mathematical achievements.(3)ANOVA analysis of parental education,guidance work,and math achievement respectively.It was found that the difference in parental education is significantly different for the guidance work.Generally speaking,the higher the education level,the more parents will not guide the child's homework.Parents with college education are the group that guides their children's homework,but after investigation,it is found that these parents with low education actually refer to the child's companionship and supervision of the completion of the homework,not to help the child answer the questions Highly educated parents are busy with work every day and have little time to guide their children's homework.(4)Among the many variables,it is found that the four variables of mathematics homework effort,economic status,guidance work,and mother's education can predict students' mathematical achievements.Among them,the economic ability of the family and the ability to guide mathematics to predict mathematical achievements are low,but they cannot be ignored.Its standardized regression equation is as follows: Math Achievement = 0.658 × Mathematics Homework Effort-0.128 × Economic Status + 0.72 × Guidance Assignment + 0.066 × Mother Education.After discussions based on the research results,the following suggestions were put forward from the perspective of the teacher:(1)change ideas and focus on "quality" rather than "quantity";(2)grasp the difficulty and advocate "moderate" rather than "difficulty";(3)perception Quality,grasp "conscientious" instead of "new";(4)pay attention to changes,pay attention to "details" rather than "surface" and other suggestions;from the perspective of parents,make the following suggestions:(1)properly accompany and supervise children to complete homework;(2)Thoughts update out of misunderstanding suggestions for homework.So as to better assist the development of teaching and learn more scientifically.From the perspective of students,Cong made the following suggestions:(1)Proactively communicate with teachers in homework in a timely manner.(2)Really understand the effectiveness of homework and other suggestions.Parents and teachers can help students grow together.
