In an information society,data analysis literacy is not only one of the basic literacy formed by students through the study of mathematical knowledge,but also a basic requirement for students.Evaluating students' data analysis literacy and knowing the status of students' development are important to measure that whether the core literacy of students in mathematics meets standards.Based on the description of the three levels of student data analysis literacy in the Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition),existing researches at home and abroad,the construction of its evaluation framework,a high school student data analysis literacy evaluation framework was constructed.Based on the constructed evaluation framework,test questions were compiled.240 high school students from three high schools in different districts of Tianjin were surveyed.208 valid test papers were retrieved and data were processed using SPSS statistical analysis software.In addition,use interviews to learn about the unique insights of frontline teachers and related experts and scholars on further improving the level of student data analysis.Through investigation and analysis,it is found that the literacy of data analysis of high school students has the following characteristics:(1)The data analysis literacy of 87% of senior students can meet the high school graduation level required by the Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition),but less than half of the people reach level two,thus senior students need improvement in their data analysis literacy;(2)The senior students are relatively good in data collection and model building,while the ability to extract information and to infer data are generally weak,and there is still much room for improvement;(3)There is no significant difference between boys and girls in data analysis literacy;(4)The senior students are lack of understanding of statistical meaning and statistical language expression ability.On the basis of the acknowledgement of the current situation and characteristics of the development of data analysis literacy of high school students,the existing relevant researches and the perspectives of front-line teachers,the training strategies for data analysis literacy of high school students were put forward:(1)Mining the essence of concepts to improve data collection ability;(2)Training divergent thinking to improve information extraction ability;(3)Attach importance to principle training and to improve model building ability;(4)Training thinking and expression ability to improve data inference ability.
