With the rapid development of information technology and technology,today,we are in a big data era,Whether it is work or life,we have to face a lot of data every day,data is inseparable from our lives.Therefore,it is necessary for junior high school students to have good data analysis literacy.The 2011 Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard lists data analysis concepts as one of the ten core concepts,Then China's education reform is also in full swing,The term core literacy,the core literacy of mathematics is the focus and hot topic of today's education.Mathcore literacy include mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling visual imagination,visual imagination,mathematical operations,and data analysis,as one of the six core literacy,data analysis is also the core content of statistics and probability teaching in compulsory education.Therefore,improving and cultivating junior high school students' data analysis literacy is a major trend,this paper takes the data of rural junior high school students to analyze the literacy level as the research object,by consulting a large number of literature on data analysis literacy at home and abroad,And sort through the literature,then according to the questionnaire survey method and classroom observation method,investigation on the status quo of data analysis literacy of rural junior high school students.Analysis of the survey results using SPSS and Excel software shows:first,the data analysis literacy level of rural junior high school students is generally moderate;only reached level 2,some students are able to reach level 3;second,there is a significant difference in the level of data literacy between male and female students;third,students in three dimensions,(awareness and perception of data,methods of data analysis and perception,consciousness and perception of randomness)performance the top is also very uneven;fourth,students' usual scores are related to the data obtained from this test,according to the results of the survey,the teaching suggestions for improving and cultivating the data analysis literacy of rural junior high school students are proposed.
