In the General Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition),problem solving runs through the core literacy of the chemistry discipline and the goal of the new chemistry curriculum.Cultivating chemistry triple characterization thinking is the key to chemistry learning and the key to improving students' ability to solve chemical problems. In this study, three high school seniors were used as case studies, and the relationship between triple representation and problem-solving ability was carried out by means of face-to-face tutoring interventions and the effectiveness of oral reports.Three topics including "ion reaction","redox reaction",and "electrochemistry" in a round of reviewing senior chemistry were selected as teaching materials, and advanced three-character advanced learning guidance was carried out.In order to test the teaching effect, prepare test questions, record the participants' thinking process in the problem solving process, form a spoken report, semantically encode the spoken report, and analyze the thinking process.Research shows that students have a certain foundation in triple-representation thinking and chemical problem-solving ability, but the overall level is not high.Through the intensive training of triple representation thinking, students can improve their confidence in chemical problem solving, their understanding of the subject matter, the structuring of chemical knowledge, and the ability to extract and analyze information. The formation of triple representation thinking really helps improve students' Chemical problem solving ability.
