In the context of a new round of curriculum reform,the teaching value of current political materials has become increasingly prominent.The content of current political materials is wide and updated quickly,so it is an important teaching resource.Effectively integrating current politics materials into high school politics classrooms can make the textbook content closely related to current politics issues.It can not only enhance the vitality of the classroom and improve the learning interest,but also promote students to better grasp the content of teaching materials.At the same time,students can also pay more attention to current affairs and cultivate good political literacy.However,in actual teaching,the teaching value of current political materials is often underestimated,and cannot be deeply explored.Based on this situation,this article mainly uses the literature research method,observation method and interview method to study the application of current political materials in high school politics class.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction shows how the research questions in this article are raised,the current status of domestic and foreign research,and the basic research ideas and methods.The main body consists of three parts.First,On the basis of clarifying the connotation and characteristics of current political materials,we analyze the relationship between current political materials and high school political lessons,and demonstrate the teaching value of current political materials.Second,based on the collation of classroom observations and interviews,we analyzed the problems in the application of current political materials in high school politics classes.From the perspective of teacher education concept and students' cognitive bias,we analyze the causes of the problems.Finally,based on the selection and use of current political materials,we propose countermeasures,which is the key to the good use of current political materials.For the selection of current political materials,teachers should optimize the selection based on the teaching content,the actual situation of students,and the content of current political materials.In the use of current political materials,first of all,teachers must be flexible.Secondly,teachers should carry out activities around the content of current politics to stimulate students' interest.At the same time,teachers need to dig deeper into the value of current political materials and improve their teaching ability.The conclusion of the thesis the idea to do a brief summary.It is proposed that the content of the topic selection of this thesis will be further improved based on existing research in the future.
