With the development of the times, the new curriculum reform is also in-depth.In 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the latest "General High School Physics Curriculum Standards",in order to adapt to the level of students' thinking development and meet the needs of students' lifelong development, the new curriculum standards put forward the core quality of physics, more highlighted the importance of scientific thinking, mathematical thinking is an important scientific thinking, mathematical thinking methods in physics teaching has an important application. Moreover, finding the fit point of physics and mathematics thought method slyly helps not only break through the teaching difficulties, but also alleviate the students' anxiety and fear of physics learning. Therefore, this study makes an in-depth analysis and research on the application of mathematical thought methods in the physical problem solving of high school students, and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies for the existing problems, the specific research content is as follows:First of all, consult the relevant literature at home and abroad, organize the contents of the current stage on the application of mathematical thought methods in physics teaching, understand the current situation of research on this subject, and establish the research purpose and significance of this paper.Based on migration theory, constructivism theory and information processing theory, the concepts of mathematical thought and mathematical methods, problems and physical problems are defined. Then, based on the quantitative analysis of the correlation between mathematics and physics, the author draws on the positive correlation between physics and mathematics, expounds the influence of mathematics on physics learning, including the positive effects of positive migration and negative migration, and lists the mathematical thoughts and methods often involved in high school physics, and introduces them further with the contents of the teaching materials.Secondly, from the main objective two points of view to investigate and study. From a subjective point of view, the student aspect is to use questionnaire to understand how high school students understand the use of mathematical thought methods and applications in the solution of physical problems, and from eight dimensions of statistical analysis, the teacher is through the interview of 9 teachers of different teaching age, from three dimensions to investigate the use of mathematics thought methods in physics teaching,to understand the existing problems. From an objective point of view, design diagnostic test volumes to understand the students' practical ability to solve physical problems using mathematical ideas. The investigation and study of three aspects of comprehensive questionnaire, interview and diagnostic test found that the ability of middle school students to use mathematical thought methods in physical problems is relatively weak, teachers have less penetration of mathematical thought methods in physics teaching, and neglect the cultivation of students' ability to solve physical problems using mathematical thought methods.According to the survey data, the causes of the above phenomenon are analyzed comprehensively from the perspective of students and teachers.Third, according to the above reasons analysis from the students and teachers to put forward the corresponding solution strategy: in the student aspect, students should be positive learning attitude, active learning; And with the relevant case design to illustrate.Secondly, teachers should also cultivate students' ability to solve physical problems by using mathematical thought methods. Finally, the conclusions, innovations, shortcomings and prospects of this research are expounded.
