The secondary school adopts the branch subject teaching. The subjects are relatively independent and lack of communication, which is not conducive to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability. In 2014,the Ministry of Education put forward the concept of cultivating students' core competence. One of the important points is that in teaching, subject barriers should be broken, communication and integration between subjects should be strengthened, and the collective role of each subject should be brought into play.Physics is the key element to students'comprehensive ability training, and mathematical knowledge is an indispensable part of learning physics. In high school, compared with other subjects, physics and mathematics are prone to impeding students' learning. These two subjects are also closely relative each other. Most of students have difficulty in physics learning because of poor mathematical foundation,or the influence between these two subjects.Mathematics is very important for the learning and understanding of physical learning.Mathematics simplifies the expression of physical concepts and rules, and provides computational assistance for the analysis of physical problems. Also, mathematics is the language tool of physics. The mathematical logic relationship plays an important role in some physical knowledge.Studying mathematical knowledge and methods in high school physics teaching can further promote physics teaching.Through investigation and reference materials, this research is based on the importance of mathematical knowledge and methods to physics learning. The main contents of this paper are:(1)Discuss the difficult points of mathematical knowledge in detail, especially commonly used in high school physics learning, and analyze the mathematical knowledge points and systems used in various physics test points in high school according to the syllabus, and study the corresponding teaching methods for the difficult mathematical knowledge points in physics knowledge;(2)This thesis understands the application of corresponding mathematics knowledge in high school physics teaching in the form of questionnaires, discusses the problems in teaching, and analyzes the solutions by analyzing the reasons(3)Analyze the reasons for students' difficulty in using mathematical knowledge and give corresponding suggestionsAccording to the data,it indicates that students generally support that mathematics is important to physics, but they are not good at learning and summarizing the commonly used mathematical knowledge and methods in physics.Students have trouble in solving physical problems by using mathematical knowledge. Some students are constrained by insufficient mathematical ability when studying physics. From another side, teachers also need to improve the handling of mathematical knowledge and methods in teaching.Students 'difficulties in using mathematics mainly include poor numerical foundation, some high school mathematics knowledge lags behind, and students' insufficient understanding of the relationship between mathematics and physics. In order to solve the above problems, this article gives corresponding conclusions for teachers and students, strategies for using mathematics to promote physics learning and teaching are given.Teachers should pay attention to the importance of mathematics to physics learning in teaching, supplement and summarize in time in the process of teaching, and cultivate students' mathematics ability to strengthen the penetration and integration between these two subjects.Students should realize the importance of the relationship between mathematics and physics, develop good study habits, and strengthen the learning and application of basic mathematical knowledge in physics learning.
