In the context of today's globalization,all countries are developing at a high speed.In order to cultivate new talents who can adapt to development and have the capabilities required by society,China has begun to put forward requirements for reform and development of basic education.Elementary school is an important stage of basic education.Textbooks are an important tool for carrying educational ideas,achieving educational goals,and disseminating knowledge,and have a high research value.The Davis version of the United States art textbook for elementary schools is an elementary art textbook that was republished in 2018 in accordance with the 2014 National Art Standards of the United States.The problems we face have similarities.The comparative study of art textbooks in elementary schools in the United States and China has a reference significance for the reform of art curriculum standards in the basic education stage of our country and the preparation of textbooks.This article mainly uses literature analysis method,text analysis method and comparative research method to conduct a comparative analysis of Chinese Su Shao edition and American Davis edition elementary school art textbooks in many aspects.Based on the national conditions and retaining the advantages of China 's art textbooks,this paper summarizes the existing problems in the writing of Su Shao 's primary school art textbooks and draws on the advantages of Davis 's primary school art textbooks.Sections:Part ?: Introduction.Clarify the origin of research and the purpose and significance of research,sort out the current status and development trends of research at home and abroad,and determine research questions and research methods.Part ?: A general introduction to the art textbooks for Chinese primary school Su Shao and the art textbooks for American Davis elementary school.This section gives a general introduction to the background,historical development,subject concepts,basis for writing,and specific goals of the two editions of textbooks.The compilation is based on an analysis of the framework,teaching goals,teaching methods,educational concepts and guiding ideology of the art(visual art)curriculum standards of the two countries.Part ?: Analysis of the content and structure of Chinese primary school art textbooks by Su Shao and American Davis primary school art textbooks.This part is the most important part of the thesis.It focuses on the two sets of textbook book layout and layout,architecture,column settings,and content selection.The basis for the in-depth comparison of the two sets of teaching art textbooks.Part ?:Summary and recommendations.By summarizing the comparison of art textbooks in primary schools in the two countries,analyzing the reasons for the differences in writing,on this basis,suggestions are made for the writing of art textbooks in primary schools in China.
