Thanks to the rapid development in optical fiber technology and the new applications of industrial fiber,there are sudden demands for designs and manufacturing high power industrial optical fiber connector in the markets.Even with stable and constant demands for fiber connectors in the market,due to the limited capacity of productions,the supply of FG cannot meet the requirements and satisfaction of the customers especially its unsatisfactory delivery schedule.Moreover,the poor management of stock and database as well as sharp increasing requirements of raw material has all contributed to the shortage of stocks and price increase.Consequently,a study and research in the strategic stock management must be undertaken by FGThe targets of this research are focus on a small and medium company which named as FG.Through the methodology of ABC classification and categorization of amount,to develop an effective method to well organize and manage A&B material and as a result,to reduce the level of stock.Meanwhile,with basis thought of MRP as well as MPS main production plan of FG company,an analysis of stock for high power fiber components and products construction is required in order to work out an strategy of stock management and thus achieve an effective management-order placement,delivery of material.The achievement of the management will no doubt increase material turnover rate and solve the problem of shortage of material for production.
