Since engaging in business of credit card in 1998,the Baotou Branch of Agricultural Bank of China always could not establish a complete and advanced marketing system,which makes the business of credit card in a backward state compared with other banks.In face of the credit card market with great potential,it is a prominent issue for Baotou Branch of Agricultural Bank of China to actively cope with the fierce competition in the same industry and realize the rapid,smooth and stable development of credit card business for Baotou Branch of Agricultural Bank of China.A systematic study on the marketing strategies on credit card business of Baotou branch of Agricultural Bank of China was made in this article,with the purpose of establishing a marketing system of credit card suitable to the local condition.In terms of using marketing theories and methods on credit card at home and aboard for reference,some theories on Marketing Management,Bank Operation and Management,as well as Consumer Behavior are adopted in this article.First,the article elaborates the background and significance of the topic,basic content,methods and relevant theories,and then briefly introduces the development history of credit card and the marketing of credit card,and further analyzes the sales condition of credit card for Baotou branch of Agricultural Bank of China,and then points out some defects,and finally makes a further study on the credit card marketing of Baotou Branch of Agricultural Bank of China.Therefore,the conclusion is drawn.I hope this dissertation can promote the marketing of credit card of Baotou Agricultural Bank and offer relevant experience to other financial institute or similar business for reference.
