| Before the July of 2011,the endowment insurance modes of migrant workers in China mainly consist of Urban Insurance,Subsistence Allowances and Comprehensive Insurance.Thereafter the government promulgated the "Social Insurance Law",which stipulates that migrant workers should participate in the basic pension insurance.The paper takes Shenzhen,Beijing and Shanghai as examples to explore the effects of different modes:changes in the difficulties of participating in the endowment and getting pension,and to evaluate changes in pension replacement rate based on actuarial models.The simulation results suggest:(1)it became more difficult for migrant workers to participate in endowment insurance,(2)while it became easier to get pension,(3)migrant workers' pension replacement rates were raised in all three cities. |
