A Study Of The Factors Affecting On China Timber Processing Industry In The Global Division Status

Since the 1980s,the rapid development of the products within the division of labor has greatly changed the pattern of international trade and investment as well as the ecological distribution of global value chain,especially in the field of manufacturing industry and high-tech industry.Much attention has been paid to some developing countries international trade condition.The superior initial endowment conditions and export-oriented industrialization strategy,made the rapid development of Chinese forestry industry.China is rapidly becoming a big country forest products processing.With China's rising labor costs,the primary factors of competitive advantage in the original,not only difficult to achieve export revenues continue to increase,it will fall in trouble.If China continues to be an agent processing plants,focuses on the production of labor-intensive products,it is difficult to compete with some developed countries enterprise.On account of extensive production pattern production of forest products,China is at the bottom of the global value chain.China is a wood processing industry export power.It involved in the global division of labor and the breadth and depth of gradually expand and deepen.But few scholars from the perspective of China's wood processing industry segmentation study China's timber processing industry in the global division of labor status and its influencing factors.Therefore,in order to elevate the status of the global division of labor of China timber processing industry,this article based on the existing literature and the input-output method,calculating the upstream of the wood processing industry.At the same time,the upstream industry degrees will be considered a measure of China's timber processing industry in the global division of labor status indicators.With industry's panel data analysis method,this paper selected 37countries 16 years of panel data,through the measuring test,verify influence China timber processing industry the influence factors of the global division of labor status.The results are as follows:status of wood processing industry of factor endowments have effect on the global division of labor status.Rising per capita gross domestic product(GDP),laid the material foundation for wood processing technology upgrading,and obtain the dynamic interest are far-reaching;Science and technology is the decisive factor of wood processing industry to improve the global division of labor status;The country's export trade policy and tax system factors actively promote China's timber processing industry global division of labor status and relatively stable;Industry scale of China's timber industry promote wood industry has great significance to the international division of labor status.Finally,combining the empirical results,this study suggests to protect and upgrade the traditional factors of production,promote the mechanism innovation,increase the intensity of innovation,set up the independent brand,establish industrial clusters,optimize the structure;extend the industrial chain and so on.It has far-reaching significance for Chinese wood processing industry.
