After the oil crisis in 1970 s,Japan's auto industry with the Toyota mode of production makes the industrial production level jump on a new step.As Japan's manufacturing industry's international competitiveness is more and more strong,lean production has been paid more and more extensive attention.The researchers all over the world produced many new theories by deepening research of lean production,meanwhile,it has been adopted by enterprises in practice gradually.Taken SAND Shanghai company as the study of the carrier,this thesis explores how to use lean production theory in the actual production operation to solve the concrete problems existing in the production in order to improve the production efficiency and reduce the cost.This thesis first analyzes the problems existing in the front process of the SAND Shanghai company.That is,the product variety,complex structure,quick change and product management confusion lead to the inconsistent material accounting,production incoordination and semi-finished material accumulation.And then,based on the analysis of the lean production mode,we use a variety of lean production methods such as just-in-time production,automation,informationization,automatic scheduling system to put forward the corresponding improvement ideas and methods for the front process existing problems.Through the information system,we adopt cross-site comparison and exact consumption to solve the problem of the material accounting.By introducing automation material storage center and automatic car system,we solve the problem of semi-finished materials management confusion and inefficiency.Through the establishment of semi-automatic schedule and production scheduling system,we can improve uncoordinated problem of schedule and further improve the production efficiency and reduce inventory.Finally,by analyzing the improvement results of lean production,this thesis illustrates that it is an effective improvement of lean production for company and it can effectively reduce and eliminate some waste problems.This research results not only solves the practical problems existing in the front process of SAND Shanghai company,,but also has a certain guiding role for other enterprises in their material storage management and production automation reform.
