Because of the fact that marriageable population born in 1980s and 1990s is on the increase,China is at a new peak of marriage.At the same time,with the improvement of people's material living standard and the change of consumption concept comes the fact that new couples' demands and requirement for honeymoon tourism are also increasing.Thanks to fierce market competition and strong demand for honeymoon tourism,not only more and more online tourism electricity suppliers are involved in honeymoon tourism market segment,but also the company that focus on the development of honeymoon travel services called Meyouone is set up.However,compared to mass tourism,honeymoon travel is a journey that not only forgettable but also fulling of special meaning for new couples.Due to a variety of disadvantages of honeymoon tourism products,new couples prefer self-service tour via making travel plans by themselves after gathering related information through the Internet,at the same time,they also share their honeymoon travel experience by writing travel notes,which provides a new way for knowing more about honeymoon tourists.While honeymoon tourism gets more and more attention from tourism electricity suppliers,there isn't much study on honeymoon tourism,especially study on destination selections of island honeymoon tourism.Therefore,to have a thorough understanding about destination selection behaviors and preference of island honeymoon tourists and better the development of island honeymoon tourism industry,we should make a study on island honeymoon tourism in a deeper way.With the help of content analysis,this paper has revealed contents including geographical distribution features of destinations,consumption behavior characteristics,destination image features as well as the ranking of destination selection factors of China's island honeymoon tourists via the analysis of travels notes shared on Ctrip.First of all,this paper introduces research questions,research methods and research thought,which describes the research process in detail.Secondly,this paper gives a definition for related concepts and reviews the current research about honeymoon tourism,explaining the research value and meaning.Thirdly,this paper introduces the theoretical foundation of this paper,including the theory of destination image theory and destination selection theory,and bring them into the study of destination selections of China's island honeymoon tourism.Next this paper introduces the data sources and data preprocessing process.Then this paper analysis the geographical distribution features of destinations via counting the frequency of destinations with word frequency statistics.After that,this paper establishes co-word matrix and makes MDS analysis of high frequency words after word segmentation and word frequency counting of travel notes,from which we get destination image features and destination selection factors.Also,this paper make a study on tourists' behavior characteristics of destination selection.Finally,this paper makes weighted calculation of destination selection factors and gets the ranking of destination selection factors.The paper starts from four methods,including literature survey,word frequency analysis,MDS analysis and TD-IDF weighting method,then we get four conclusions.First of all,according to the ranking order of frequency,the top ten destinations chose by China's island honeymoon tourists are Maldives,Hainan Island,Mauritius,Saipan,Phuket,Bali,Belau,Sabah,Seychelles,New Zealand.Secondly,the features of destination image are as below:tourism landscape resources are full of romantic and literary atmosphere;the airplane and shipping are the main transportation ways;high star-level hotels with private pool,private villas,romantic water bungalows and beach villas are the main accommodations,the seafood and tropical fruits are the most representative food;the entertainment is full of island characteristics;high level service and enthusiastic service attitude;there are visa on arrival and visa exemption policies as well as good language environment.Thirdly,destination selection factors according to ranking level are as follows:romantic and literary tourism landscape resources;high level accommodations with good privacy and specialty food;abundant entertainments;superior location and convenient transportation;high level service and enthusiastic service attitude;convenient visa policies and good language environment.What's more,In the process of choosing the destination,tourists' behavior characteristics have no difference before or after the travel whether they choose domestic islands or foreign islands,but there are some difference when they establish destination images during the journey.Based on above conclusions,this paper put up with some forward proposals for the development of island honeymoon tourism in the future.
