With the continuous improvement of the economy,customized products and personalized service demand is increasing;the product life cycles are getting shorter,the delivery date of the order is obviously shortened,the change of the design and orders have become increasingly frequent,These are small quantities of many varieties under the market environment,enterprises can not be avoided,if you do not face,analyze and solve these problems as soon as possible,the cost of enterprise operation will be significantly increased,the enterprise’s competitiveness will be significantly decreased,slightly different for some low anti risk ability of small and medium enterprises,enterprises may be destroyed on one day.After years of demonstration,lean production is a highly efficient production management mode,which is to enhance operation efficiency of every link of production system by enhancing production control process control and eliminating all kinds of waste in production.Lean production is widely recognized as a way of producing high quality products at low cost.It is an effective way to deal with small batch and multi variety market,and it is also a required course for sustainable development of Chinese machinery manufacturing enterprises.Starting from the significance,background and application value of the research,this paper makes a brief analysis of the present research situation of lean production both at home and abroad.On the basis of the interpretation of the related theory of lean production,the current situation of production management of H company is analyzed,and the current problems of production management are found out,and the causes of the problems are analyzed objectively.According to the thought and method of lean production,combined with the production management practice of H company and the analysis of the value flow chart,the problems of the company’s field management confusion,the waste of handling,the low efficiency of the equipment comprehensive operation,the more in-process inventory,the long processing time and the unbalance of the production rate are revealed.In view of the above problems,combined with the actual production management of the company,the reasons for the confusion of production site management,high equipment outmoded failure rate,unscientific operation method,unreasonable equipment layout and unreasonable processing technology are analyzed objectively.On the basis of the above analysis,we use lean production execution tools to work out an improvement plan.In view of the confusion of production management,it is proposed to carry out 5S activities in H company to ensure the maximum utility of employees in a clean,tidy,safe and orderly production environment,and to promote the overall operational efficiency of the equipment to ensure the continuity of the production,and to ensure the continuity of production;the internal and external time separation method and the compression of the internal time are carried out.In order to shorten the changing time and improve the flexibility of the production system,the layout of the production equipment in the workshop is optimized to reduce the waste of handling due to the handling,and the production time is shortened by the process of the bottleneck process to achieve the goal of balancing the production rhythm Finally,aiming at the actual situation of H company’s production management,it puts forward the safeguards for its lean production improvement.
