A Study On The Feasibility And Economic Effect For Setting Free Trade Area On China,Mongolia And Russia

Since President Xi Jinping proposed the construction of China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor in 2014,the economic,trade and economic cooperation between China,Mongolia and Russia has made great progress.On the basis of China-Mongolia-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor,further deepening the economic and trade cooperation between the three countries and building a free trade area with higher standards is an inevitable choice for China,Mongolia,and Russia to carry out economic and trade cooperation.It is also an initiative to promote the "the Belt and Road"initiative in Northeast Asia.The main direction.In this context,the study of Mongolia-Russia free trade area has important theoretical and practical value.Taking the feasibility of establishing the China-Mongolia-Russia free trade area as the entry point,this thesis has combed the political and economic cooperation of China,Mongolia,and Russia for the past ten years,analyzed in detail the advantages and obstacles existing in the establishment of the free trade area,and adopted advance forecasts.Methods The GTAP model was used to simulate the economic effects of the construction of China-Mongolia-Russia free trade area,focusing on the impact of the Free Trade Area on economic development,trade cooperation,and industrial competition.On this basis,this thesis believes that the establishment of a free trade area can eliminate trade barriers between countries and promote the development of economic cooperation among the three countries.Second,due to the huge gap in economic development level,the China-Mongolia-Russia free trade area may be at a low level for a long period of time.With huge differences in the economic scale of Mongolia and Russia,the establishment of China-Mongolia-Russia free trade area can take the construction of a regional free trade area as a starting point and prioritize sub-regional cooperation.Combining the conclusions drawn from the foregoing,in order to better promote the construction of China-Mongolia-Russia free trade area,the thesis suggests that we should first speed up the construction of infrastructure,improve the interoperability of the three countries,and then strengthen trade cooperation,improve the level of cooperation between the three countries,and strengthen the culture.Communication and finally to strengthen the supply of public goods,to achieve the three countries cooperation mechanism innovation.This thesis is divided into the following five parts.The introduction part mainly reviews the research background and references,explains the research ideas,and points out the innovation and deficiencies.The theoretical elaboration section mainly introduces the relevant theories of the construction of free trade area,including the major market theory,the coordination international division of labor theory and so on.The practical foundation for the establishment of a free trade area mainly analyzes the economic and trade cooperation,industrial level,and diplomatic relations between China,Mongolia,and Russia,and draws preliminary conclusions.In the part of economic effect research,this thesis mainly uses the GTAP model to simulate the impact of different tariff concessions on the level of economic development of various countries and the welfare of residents.The last part is the conclusions and policy recommendations,which are mainly the conclusions of this thesis and the policy suggestions for the construction of Mongolia-Russia free trade area...
