Applied Research Of SAP System Used In Machinery Industry Enterprise Inventory Management

Inventories are important liquid assets of an enterprise,and normally the industrial enterprises have more than one third of the current assets.The proper inventory reserves can help enterprises to avoid downtime to be missed business opportunities,occupy better possession of the market,is the basis for the survival and development of enterprises.However,if the industrial enterprises of large inventories and inventory turnover are low,taking up a lot of capital funds,but also reduces the overall profit margins,hindering the steady development of enterprises.At the same time,unreasonable inventory management will bring a lot of dull material,rotten,deterioration,theft and other management issues.Therefore,the inventory management is very important.Especially:in the global economic integration,the modern industrial society has more and more strictly and continues competition.The traditional machinery manufacturing industry is also facing greater competition.How to better meet customer needs,reduce the overall cost of business operations,and promote healthy long-term development of enterprises,which are common problems for all of enterprises.In the machinery manufacturing industry,inventory in the proportion of current assets can be as much as half,so there is a lot of space,the enterprise can strengthen inventory management to decrease the capital occupancy rate,enhance the economic efficiency of enterprises.It is necessary to have effective tools to do good work.The traditional inventory management methods have been unable to meet the requirements of modern industrial production.With the help of modern electronic information technology,through the use of a variety of important inventory management ideas and theoretical SAP system,can be very good to help enterprises to achieve modern inventory management,enterprises to achieve inventory management efficiency.With related management theory and status of K Company's inventory management,this paper make an analysis of the K company inventory management condition.Combined with the SAP system used by K Company,after explaining the existing problems and analyzing the causes,the paper analyzes the four aspects from the optimization of purchasing process,the redesign of inventory structure control,the reasonable revision of inventory physical check,and the improvement of accuracy of inventory measurement.Then solve the problem of inventory management faced by K Company,and provide reference experience of inventory management for small and medium-sized machinery and equipment manufacturing industry.The innovation of this paper is based on the practical work experience of the author and the enterprise's inventory management status,combining theory with practice and the SAP system's practical use,enhance the scientific nature,operability and referential value of this study.
