Study On The Efficiency Of Investment In Fixed Assets In The Pan-PRD Region Based On DEA

Regional economic cooperation of Pan-PRD Region deepens continuously,and this area plays an increasingly important role in China's economic and social development.The importance of fixed asset investment as a driving force for economic and social development is self-evident.Therefore,under the background of China's new normal,how to increase the efficiency of investment in fixed assets in Pan-PRD Region so that investment in fixed assets can provide more assistance to the economic and social development is an issue that urgently needs to be solved.This paper takes reference to theoretical and methodological researches about investment efficiency of fixed assets.This paper analyzes the current situation of fixed assets investment in Pan-PRD Region.Furthermore,this paper uses DEA method after eliminating price factors to measure investment efficiency of fixed asset and its changing trend in Pan-PRD Region,taking the data of fixed assets investment in Pan-PRD Region from 2011 to 2016 as sample.Furtherly,this paper analyses the factors that influence investment efficiency of fixed assets in Pan-PRD Region.The result shows that investment efficiency of fixed assets in Pan-PRD Region is obviously different.Fixed assets investment in Guangdong and Yunnan provinces is most efficient,ant it's least efficient in Fujian and Hainan provinces.Investment efficiency in Fujian and Hainan provinces rises most.Fixed-asset investment efficiency in Fujian,Hainan,Sichuan and Yunnan showed an increasing trend,while other provinces showed a downward trend.The main factors that affect investment efficiency of fixed assets in Pan-PRD Region are various,which mainly include total economic volume,investment scale of fixed assets,sources of fixed asset investment,technological progress and industrial structure.Finally,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions to improve the investment efficiency of fixed asset in Pan-PRD Region.
