| Tourism efficiency reflects the ability and level of economic agents in rational use of resources,making it an important measure scale in achieving profits.In recent years,with the rapid development of China's tourism industry,tourism efficiency has become the academic hotspot and major research field in current tourism study.Based on these,this paper,following a research pattern of "feature analyses,pattern evolution and mechanism discussion,explores the sequential characteristics and spatial evolution of tourism industry efficiency in 34 county units in Yangtze River City Complex.On the basis of input-output theory,tourism life cycle theory,and regional coordinated development theory with multiple mathematical methods being carried out,including DEA,Malmquist,CV,ESDA,orthocenter and standard deviation ellipse,and dynamic panel regression model,it can be fully discussed that the overall characteristics,differential trend characteristics,spatial features,spatial agglomeration pattern evolution of tourism industry efficiency and changing pattern evolution of total factor productivity in county units from Yangtze River City Complex.Influencing factors of tourism industry efficiency can be analyzed and corresponding optimal solutions and comprehensive driven mechanisms can also be brought up.The results are shown as follows:(1)From the year of 2006 to 2016,a wavy increasing trend can be seen in the average tourism industry efficiency in county units of Yangtze River City Complex,mainly due to the soaring scale efficiency.It is apparent that the tourism industry efficiency and decomposition efficiency are on the rise.(2)From the year of 2006 to 2016,the Coefficient of Variation of tourism industry efficiency and decomposition efficiency value in Yangtze River City Complex have shown a wavy decreasing tread,partly because of the gradually narrow differences between county units and partly due to the uncertainty of tourism development process in county units.(3)From the year of 2006 to 2016,progressive scale technology change and pure technical efficiency change contributes most to the total factor change in the area,followed by scale efficiency change and then progressive pure technical change.(4)From the year of 2006 to 2016,an apparent spatial variation can be seen among comprehensive tourism efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency in the area.There is a positive spatial autocorrelation in tourism industry efficiency,which forms a condensed distribution from north to south.(5)Economic development,industrial structure,openness,transport location,as well as labor conditions are main factors that affect tourism industry efficiency in Yangtze River City Complex.Taking a perspective of county units,this survey analyzes and summarizes the spatial evolution characteristics of tourism industry efficiency in Yangtze River City Complex,and brings about means of multiple comparison and analysis,hoping to enrich the theoretical system of tourism industry efficiency and tourism geography. |
