Measurement Of Environmental Efficiency Of Yangtze River Delta City Cluster And Analysis Of Influencing Factors

Since the forty years of reform and opening up,China's economy is developing rapidly.At the same time when we made great achievements,the environment pollution problem is also increasingly outstanding,especially more serious air pollution problem.Environmental efficiency is the the direct reflection of one country's resources,environment and economic development coordination,which reflects the quality of one country's(region)economic running quality,embodies the influences of economic growth to the environment,thus,it shows especial necessity to anlayze regional economic growth quality and put forward its corresponding policy advice.This essay tests the environmental efficiency of 26 cities in Yangtze River Delta City Group in the year of 2007-2016 considering unexpected DEA model.It analyzes its time and space difference;applying the index model of Malmquist to explore the internal influence factors of environment efficiency in Yangtze River Delta City Group from the angle of the change on environmental factor total productivity and its decompositio;further apply Tobit regression model to test its outer influence factor;lastly,compare with environmental efficiency in Yangtze river delta,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Pearl River Delta and other three China's major urban group in the year of 2007-2016.It comes to conclusion:(1)Not high environmental efficiency of Yangtze River Delta city group,which mainly takes on time trends of falling first and then rising,but the little fluctuation,and relatively stable on the whole;(2)During the changes of environmental efficiency of Yangtze River Delta city in the previous year,it plays an leading role of pure technological efficiency,and scales efficiency is not play too much role;(3)it has obvious role on the environmental efficiency on economic scale and technical innovation for Yangtze River Delta city group,while it has obvious negative influence on industrial structure,car ownership and population density,in addition to,foreign investment dependence has no obvious influence on regional environment efficiency;(4).Among the three city group,the average environmental efficiency of pearl river delta city group is always higher than the city group of Yangtze river delta,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,environmental efficiency on the city group of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is the lowest and also most obvious.According to above conclusion,below four policy suggestions are proposed:(1)speed up industrial structure upgrade;(2)enlarge technical and capital effects;(3)promote regional coordinated development;(4)advocate low carbon environment-friendly method.This essay ‘s conclusion and advice can provide theoretical reference and exemplified support for regional government leading enterprises to adjust industrial structure,controlling fog emission,and enhancing regional environmental efficiency.
