Research On The Economic Effects Of Guizhou Liquor Industry Agglomeration

In recent years,as an important economic phenomenon,industrial agglomeration has become the main concern of many scholars in the study of regional economic problems.Industrial agglomeration plays an important role in enhancing industrial competitive advantages,promoting regional economic development,improving industrial organization structure and industrial layout.The liquor industry is the pillar industry of Guizhou's economic development,and Guizhou is the main agglomeration area of China's liquor industry.Therefore,it is of certain significance in both theory and practice to study the economic effect of Guizhou liquor industry agglomeration.This article mainly carries on the empirical research from two aspects of the scale economy effect and the competition effect of liquor industry agglomeration.On the basis of combing the related industrial agglomeration theory and its economic effect literature research,this paper first analyzes the development status of the national and Guizhou liquor industry from two angles of benefit and production,and then combines the location entropy to compare the horizontal ratio of industrial agglomeration between Guizhou and Sichuan,Jiangsu,Shandong and Henan Province.Furthermore,the concentration index was used to make a vertical comparison of the liquor industry agglomeration degree in Guizhou over the years,thus more comprehensively reflecting the level of liquor industry agglomeration in Guizhou.Secondly,based on the VAR model,we conduct an empirical study on the economies of scale in the liquor industry agglomeration and analyze the economies of scale.Then,the competitiveness of liquor industry in Guizhou,Sichuan,Jiangsu,Shandong and Henan was compared by 2 indexes and the competitiveness of liquor enterprises in Guizhou,Sichuan,Jiangsu,Shandong and Henan was compared.The competition effect of liquor industry agglomeration was analyzed by panel data model.Finally,the conclusion and enlightenment are drawn.The study found that: compared with Sichuan,Jiangsu,Shandong and Henan,Guizhou liquor industry has a high concentration level,strong local professionalism and more economic agglomeration than geographical agglomeration.Liquor industry agglomeration not only promotes regional economic growth in Guizhou Province,but also plays a great role in the economic growth of liquor industry itself.The effect of scale economy is remarkable,and the competition effect of liquor industry agglomeration in Guizhou is significant.
