In recent years,along with the development of China's economy and the improvement of people's living standards,information technology and the Internet industry have also gained widespread usage.This has led to an increase in the competitiveness among commercial banks and more challenges to be faced in business development.The traditional profit margins have been continuously cut down,and the transformation and upgrading and finding of new profit growth points have become a problem to be solved by every banks.In this paper,through the research and study of previous related literature,we have extracted the relevant theories and views of Chinese and foreign scholars on the development of commercial banks' intermediary businesses.By observing the status quo of the development of the intermediary business development of China's commercial banks,the problems existing in the current business development of are analyzed,and based on this,the factors that may affect the development of the intermediary business of commercial banks are proposed.Although there are many influencing factors,based on the existing analysis,this article has targeted selected indicators to cover both macroscopic and microscopic aspects.Through qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis and other research methods,the factors that affect the development of intermediary businesses are analyzed and interpreted.From a macro perspective,the development of the overall economic environment plays an important role in the development of intermediary businesses.This paper selected four indicators,namely GDP,per capita disposable income of urban residents,money supply and social direct financing,as independent variables.From a microscopic point of view,this paper has selected commercial banking and management expenses as a percentage of operating expenses,non-performing loans,net assets,and capital adequacy ratios as the four indicators.The intention is to use domestic economic development,household income,money supply,social financing,the investment in the development of commercial banks,the risk preference of banks,the profitability of banks,and the ability to counter risks in the analysis of factors affecting the development of intermediary businesses.Specifically,by selecting the development data of 15 listed banks over a 10 years period,panel data regression analysis was used to conduct research and draw relevant conclusions.Finally,this paper integrates the results of empirical analysis and the problems existing in the development of the intermediary business of China's commercial banks,and proposes constructive measures to promote the development of intermediary businesses from both macro and micro perspectives.
