Coupling And Coordination Between Service Agglomeration And The Quality Of Urbanization:an Example Of Xinjiang

This thesis is derived from the school of new economic geography.Under the assumption that service industry agglomeration will play a positive influence on the quality of urbanization,there will be a high coupling and coordination degree between two systems.However,we can not take the assumption for sure that there may be causal relations without positive analysis.Whether there will be economic causal relations is under question.We need positive analysis with Econometrics.Characters of data means that we can not use traditional instruments like OLS and so on.Thus,Entropy Method,Gray Forecast Model,Coupling and Coordination Degree Model are ideal instruments.Coupling and Coordination Degree Model takes place of the OLS.If there is coupling and coordination between service industry agglomeration and the quality of urbanization,there are causal relations between two systems.In other word,there is a function.With spatial Gini Coefficient,entropy method and data from 2001 to 2016,this thesis has measured service industry agglomeration and the quality of urbanization of Xinjiang.Service industry agglomeration is obviously existing in Xinjiang.But it is mainly affected by government policy.So it is not easy to predict the trend.We predict the quality of urbanization in Xinjiang with Grey Predict Model.On the basis of the principle of science,representativeness,maneuverability and pertinence,means of the quality of urbanization is limited to the development of economy?society?living-standard?rural area and environment.Then,we build index system.The quality of urbanization in Xinjiang is ascending.We deal with data of states by principal component analysis,cluster analysis,Kernel Density Estimation and Wilcoxon Test.We found that the quality of urbanization Entropy Method varies in different states.With Coupling and Coordination Degree Model,We found that Coupling degree is descending and the Coordination degree is ascending.In summary,there is obvious coupling and coordination between the two system.With coupling and harmonious degree model,the coupling degree and coordination degree is analyzed Empirical analysis showed that service industry agglomeration evolves with time and space.The quality of urbanization in Xinjiang is different in different time.At last,empirical analysis is concluded.Based on the summary,this thesis propose several policy advices.
