Research On Urbanization Quality And Coordination Of Chengdu-Chongqing City Clusters

Since the 20 th century,China's urbanization has a rapid development.In 2000,China's urbanization rate was 36.2%.In 2017,it reached 58.52%,with an average annual growth rate of 1.2%.In the next few decades,China's urbanization level will continue to grow rapidly.According to the forecast,by the middle of the 21 st century,China's urbanization will reach70%,while developed countries such as the West will reach about 80%.In the process of urbanization in China,the gap between its speed and quantity is gradually decreasing,and then a series of quality problems have emerged,such as uncoordinated urban and rural development,increased urban unemployment,and shortage of urban water resources.In response to these urban problems brought about by urbanization,relevant central authorities have took corresponding measures.The Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is an important urban cluster in western China.Its urbanization quality and urban development coordination are related to the overall development of western cities.By comprehensively evaluating the urbanization quality of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and studying the internal urban development coordination problems from the four aspects of population,economy,society,and ecological environment,we can discover the shortcomings in the urbanization process of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and solve the problem The problem of uncoordinated urbanization of various cities within the cluster can provide a good reference for the development of urban clusters in China.This paper takes 16 cities in Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration as the research objects.On the basis of the research on the urbanization quality of well-known scholars at home and abroad,first of all,the urbanization quality of the cities of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration was calculated,and then the degree of coordination between the urbanization quality of each city and the overall urbanization quality of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration.According to the results of the calculation,the problems faced by the urbanization quality of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and the factors affecting the coordination degree of urbanization are analyzed separately.The time range is from 2000 to 2017,and the mathematical method used is the entropy method and the coupled coordinated calculation model.On the premise of obtaining the main influencing factors of the urbanization quality of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration,how to improve the urbanization quality of each city of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and the coordinated improvement path of urbanization of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration are proposed.This paper mainly has the following conclusions: 1)The urbanization quality of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration can be decomposed into four aspects: population,economy,society,ecology;using entropy method to calculate the weight of each aspect is the population urbanization The weight is 0.12,the weight of economic development urbanization is 0.32,the weight of ecological urbanization is 0.18,and the weight of social urbanization is 0.38.2)The urbanization quality of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is overall in time The trend is slowing down.The average comprehensive score of urbanization quality in 2000 was 0.204,and the average comprehensive score of urbanization quality in 2017 was 0.168.Spatially taking Chengdu and Chongqing as the leaders,the form of "south-north high and middle-low" is distributed.There are fewer middle-level cities and more low-level cities.The differences between regions are obvious;3)The main factors affecting the urbanization quality of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration are the social and environmental aspects.The proportion of society and the environment that affects the urbanization quality score of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration exceeds 70%,and the population economy has little effect on the urbanization quality.4)The main factor that affects the urbanization coordination of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is the ecological environment.The main way to improve the coordination of 7 cities is to improve the urbanization of the ecological environment,accounting for 43.7% of the total number of cities.The lowest impact is on economic development.There are 2 cities with the main path to improve coordination,which is economic development,accounting for 12.5% of the total number of cities.
