An Empirical Study Of The Coordinated Development Between Urbanization And The Third Industry In Anhui Province

An important symbol of the level of economic development in a country or region is the level of urbanization. The process of urbanization is the second industry and the third industry continued to gather process, with the realization of the modernization of the developed industrial countries, the secondary industry of urbanization promotion decreases, the third industry to urbanization role in promoting increasing.The urbanization level in Anhui Province is currently in the stage of accelerated development, so the study of Anhui Province, the urbanization and the third industry coordinated development, the factors that restrict the coordinated development between the two, for government departments to develop a coordinated development of economic policies have a direct reference. This paper takes the coordinated development of urbanization and the third industry in Anhui Province as the research object. First according to the historical data of 1990 to 2013, clearly description of Anhui Province urbanization and the third industry development, and them during this time current characteristics, and makes a comparison with the current situation of the development of the neighboring provinces. Then the coordination degree model is used to calculate the coordination development degree between 2000 and third industrial development level in Anhui in 2013.The level of urbanization in Anhui province from 1990 to 2013 in the accelerating period, has been increasing year by year, but still lower than the average rate of towns across the country, and the per capita GDP compared with national level gradually widened the gap, the growth rate is lower than the national average level,the lower level of development than neighboring provinces and the imbalance in the development of urbanization,the urbanization level mainly in the increase of economic growth, the increase in urban population and the first industry and the second industry employment population, infrastructure and living standards still need to be improved; the third industry, the industrial structure of Anhui province is still in the "two or three, a" stage, the third industrial output value accounted for the proportion of GDP is still is far lower than the second industry, development is still concentrated in the traditional service industry. Compared with the neighboring provinces, the development is relatively backward. By the coupling coordination degree model and calculation of 2000-2013 body of Anhui urbanization and the third industry comprehensive development level of the coordinated development degree, through the empirical analysis, in the coordinated development, the development of Anhui Province, the urbanization and the third industry from the beginning of 2007 reluctantly into coordinated development, before 2007 has always belonged to the disorders, on the verge of disorder, development of urbanization lag. With the increase of the coupling coordination degree, the development of urbanization and the third industry has entered the intermediate stage, but the level of urbanization is still lower than the third industry. Therefore, it is concluded that the development of urbanization in Anhui province lags behind the development of the third industry, the two in the development process is not very good to play a role in promoting each other. The government should take measures to enhance the level of urbanization, such as deepening the reform of the household registration system, implementing flexible policy of population transfer, to achieve population to the towns and orderly aggregation; strengthen the construction of the tertiary industry in Anhui Province, pulling the urbanization development; construction scale and high quality infrastructure, such as road transportation, post and telecommunications and other related to people’s livelihood of the event, promote regional economic development.
