For a long time, the reform of rural land system has been paid close attention to.Rural land transfer is regarded as an important way to promote agricultural scale operation and ultimately achieve agricultural modernization. At the same time, the mainstream view is that the transfer of rural land depends on the transfer of rural labor force, and the degree of transfer of rural labor determines the supply space of rural land transfer market. However, the data from the National Bureau of statistics show that the non agricultural transfer rate of rural labor in China is up to 60%,which is far higher than the rate of 35%.It can be seen that the objective reality of the land transfer in China shows that "human movement" does not necessarily bring "ground motion".In this regard, the current study mainly attempts from the resource endowment and its behavior characteristics, farmers' land property right, land security function and the level of regional development perspective to explain this phenomenon, there are few papers pay attention to farmers as the main flow of the generational differentiation on the impact of rural land circulation.Since the reform and opening up,with the development of urbanization and industrialization, there has been an obvious generational differentiation in Chinese peasant groups.Different generations of farmers have their own generation group characteristics and behavior logic. Therefore, this article from the micro subject of farmers, the construction of the land function evaluation logic frame difference, difference of farmland property rights preference and land transfer, the internal mechanism to role of farmers on land circulation of the generational differentiation of interpretation, and further explore the differences between farmland transfer willingness and behavior of facts. This study is based on the sample questionnaire data of the 9 provinces and regions of the country, and uses thestata/SE 13 software to organize the data and establish the database.By using descriptive statistics, mathematical deduction and Logistic model, the data was analyzed, and the relationship model between farmers' generational differentiation and willingness and behavior of rural land transfer was established. The results show that:(1)the generational differentiation of farmers in China is mainly expressed in the three differentiation of emotional differentiation, occupational differentiation and income differentiation.Compared with the old generation of farmers, the rural land endowment effect of the new generation farmers is weak, the non-agricultural employment is higher, and the income level is higher.(2)the influence of the three great differentiation of farmers on the willingness of rural land transfer is mainly manifested in the weaker endowment effect, the higher the level of non-agricultural employment and the higher the income level, the stronger the willingness to transfer farmland.(3)the generational differentiation makes the farmers have different preferences on the structure of the subdivided farmland property rights. The old generation of farmers prefer to land control right, the new generation of farmers prefer to land income right(4)land control preference will to some extent weaken farmland transfer intention;the right of guaranteed income and the right of circulation income will strengthen farmers' willingness of farmland transfer,no significant effect productive income right.(5)the influence of the generational differentiation of farmers on the transfer of farmland is not only manifested in the willingness to transfer, but also significantly contributes to the fact of the farmland transfer. It can be seen that the current rate of rural land transfer is far below the non agricultural transfer rate of rural labor force, which is a stage characteristic. To promote the circulation of farmland, realize the land moderate scale operation: on the one hand should be based on the generational difference between new and old two generation of farmers, optimize the land circulation policy and market environment, accelerate the improvement of the integration of urban and rural social security system in weakening the social security function of rural land and giving more farmers land property rights;on the other hand, increase the farmer occupation skill training and education investment, land control preference of weakening of farmers, increase the willingness of farmland transfer.
