Research On Improving The EVA Performance Evaluation Method Of Bank Of China In Aksu Area

As the backbone of the financial industry,commercial banks play an important role in the national economy.At present,China's commercial banks are in a phase where opportunities and challenges coexist.In order to cope with the challenge,it is of great significance to the longterm development of the major banks to grasp the opportunity and the management system with performance evaluation as the core.At present,most of the western commercial banks to carry out the economic value added(EVA)performance evaluation tool.EVA has effectively made up for the lack of financial indicators in performance evaluation,and has been widely used in foreign financial industry,including HSBC,Citibank and other well-known international banks,they have established a set of complex performance information system.Be able to calculate the EVA of the whole bank,branch,account manager and customer,and achieve good results.In 2012,SASAC raised the weight of EVA in the performance appraisal of central enterprises to 50.Many banks also began to use EVA performance evaluation.This paper selects Aksu regional branch of Bank of China,a state-owned commercial bank in southern Xinjiang,as the object of case analysis,and analyzes the concrete application of EVA in the performance evaluation system of Aksu regional branch of Bank of China.The paper finds the advantages and problems of EVA performance evaluation method in the practical application of Xinjiang commercial banks,and puts forward the corresponding optimization ideas and guarantee incentives for these problems.Make the EVA performance evaluation method more in line with the characteristics and particularity of Xinjiang commercial banks,but also for other banks in Xinjiang to apply EVA performance evaluation has a certain practical significance.Through interviews with the middle-level and grass-roots employees of the Bank of China ' s Aksu region,the author understands the knowledge about the current EVA performance evaluation method by the employees of the Bank,and makes full preparations for the perfection of the EVA performance evaluation.The research results of this paper suggest that the EVA performance evaluation method can overcome the shortcomings of the existing financial indicators to a certain extent and objectively reflect the value growth and operating results of commercial banks.At the same time,the application of EVA performance evaluation in commercial banks also has its industry particularity and limitation,commercial banks should combine their main business,optimize capital structure,strengthen strategic development.So as to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of commercial banks.The focus of this paper is not only on the EVA performance evaluation of commercial banks,but also on the construction of EVA performance evaluation methods suitable for the development of commercial banks,which provides a new way for commercial banks to create value.
