Recent Development And Strategies On Family Farms In Less-developed Areas

As the rapid growth in China's current society and economy,agriculture has entered into an overall transformation status.It is a fundamental way to solve China's rural affairs to discover and develop a newly management model which is represented by family farms when varies of social,economic and ecological problems are exaggerated to-date.The development of family farms have been earning certain achievements after several years studies.However,there are still many difficult problems,especially in the less-developed areas where agriculture techniques backward,land circulation restrained,fund shortage and farmers unqualified and so on.Accordingly,to study on the family farm in the less-development areas possess quite significant sense in both theory and realism.JiaoLing County is located in the mountain area of the Northeast of GuangDong province,also in provinces border to Fujian,Guangdong and Jiangxi Province.As for rural financial reform,countryside land power,land circulation and loan on security of countryside land management rights and so on,Jiaoling County has taken its place in the front ranks of Guangdong.In recent years,the countryside family farms have been developing fast,under which circumstance,this dissertation analyzed and discussed the county's status and trend of family farms and its existing problems,so as to put forward to some scientific strategies and advices for the family farms development in the less-development areas.Main research contents: 1.A systematically research of the developing status and trend of Jianling's family farms and its effects by spot investigation,surveys,referring to the books and the Internet and data organizations.The surveys show that family farms in Jiaoling County has developed fast with growing farm scale and multi-management models since the first family farm has been registered in 2013.By the end of May,2017,JiaolingCounty has already had 173 legal family farms approved by the local agriculture apartment,which has good effects for the agriculture economy development in this county.2.Making conclusions of restraining factors for the family farms development by analysis of the status and trend for family farms in Jiaoling County.The research shows that the family farms in this county are still at a beginning stage with some problems in farm formulations,land circulations,production fund programs,improving the farmers' abilities,employment and social service though their family farms develop quite fast now.3.Aiming at the restraining factors for the development of family farms in Jiaoling County and combining the advanced experiences in developing the family farms home and aboard,the dissertation has approved some feasible and probable strategies to solve the problems above.Strategies as follow: first,strengthen local government participation and increase the government's policies supports.Second,improve the system of land circulation to increase its proportions.Third,speed up the financial innovation in the less-developed areas to solve the financing problems.Four,strengthen vocational education training and improve the employee's comprehensive working skills.Five,build up characteristic brand to enhance the advantages in Jiaoling County which also named as the Longevity County.Six,improve the system of social service to provide a more convenience and efficient service.Above all,based on the case study,the author hopes the strategies above can do help to the family farms development in the less-developed area.
