Influencing Factors Of Purchase And Application Of Chemical Fertilizer For Rice Farmers

With the rapid development of economy and society,China agricultural intensification pressure gradually increases,coupled with the fast-growing number of Chinese population and its growth rate.Besides,per capita area of cultivated farmland is small,and its productivity is low,which are unable to relieve the contradiction by relying on basic soil fertility.It is urgent to improve grain yield and food security task.Under this circumstance,the amount and intensity of agricultural chemical fertilizer is raising.Fertilizer plays an important role of the Chinese grain yield stability and growth,it also has a role in promoting the harmonious China food security,rural economic development and social stability.However,the excessive application of it has caused more serious damage on the ecological environment,the quality and safety of food,the masses of C hina.The party and the government attach great importance to this issue.From 2015 till 2016,the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Council Executive Meeting clearly pointed out that the implementation ofchemical fertilizers and pesticides must be strictly managed.In the context of food security,farmers' income increasing and farmers' sustainable development,it is very important to decide the reasonable amount of fertilizer input,which ensures food security and reduces the environmental pollution caused by chemical fertilizers.What are the factors affecting the amount of chemical fertilizer input,and what measures can be taken to make sure the reasonable use and investment of chemical fertilizer are problems remained to be solved.In view of the small scale of production level,low China grain crops and lack of professional services,with the fact that farmers are still the main fertilizer users and crops producers,on the micro level of farmers,research aims to find out the influence factors for the effect of chemical fertilizers to provide a scientific basis for the government to formulate.This paper takes Rural Household Behavior Theory as the research reference.Based on a questionnaire survey,applying the model and empirical analysis of Guangdong Province in rice farmers,it researches on the main factors and analysis of influence factors of farmers' fertilization using behavior and tries to put forward the effective control of policy recommendations.This paper is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is main introduction,which introduces the research background,research purpose and significance,research methods and data sources,ect.The second chapter is the research overview.The third part describes the current situation of the use of chemical fertilizers in C hina,followed by the role of pesticide and fertilizer for agriculture and the role of agriculture,and subsequently pointed out that hazards of excessive use of pesticide a nd fertilizer.The fourth starts from the descriptive statistics of the surveyed farmers fertilizer using behavior and purchasing behavior.The fifth chapter uses multiple regression analysis to study the factors affecting the amount of fertilizer applied to rice cultivation,and points out the direction and degree of various factors.The sixth chapteranalyzes countermeasures from the management system,legal system,information system,technology system and other aspects,and puts forward related policy measures.The last part is conclusions.The main conclusions are as follows.First,the cognition of effects of pesticide and fertilizer,distinguish ability of fake pesticide,the safe use of pesticides knowledge of surveyed farmers still need to be improved.Second,the role of government departments in the supervision and inspection of pesticide and fertilizer use,and education,are urgent to be further enhanced.Third,the statistical results show that farmers who made up more than 50 percent of total ho usehold income use more fertilizer(104.10 jin)in average than those who make up less than 50 percent of total household income.The average amount of fertilizer used by the skilled farmers is 49.76 jin more than that of the non-fertilized technique.The head of the household farmer's age,gender,education level,household labor quantity,the number of farming and rice planting area of fertilizer effect is very limited.
