Survey On Farmer's Chemical Fertilizer Using Behavior An Analysis Perspective Of Sustainable Using To Cultivated Field

Cultivated field is one of the most important means of production to farmer,and it plays an important role in increasing agricultural production and increasing farmers' incomes.The quality of cultivated field is mostly depends on the farmer's using and management behavior to it.In the last several decades,as the fertilizer is being used,the agricultural production is increased,but the agricultural pollution is also serous.Most Chinese people have focused on the problem of agricultural area pollution.As the vital microcosmic economic entities of agricultural production,the farmer's chemical fertilizer using behavior is the main factor that impacts the agricultural environment.The contribution made by chemical fertilizer using to agricultural area pollution is more than other behaviors.So,as the agricultural pollution is increasingly adjective,the writer selects 16 regions(320 farmers) in Sichuan as sample,investigate their chemical fertilizer using behavior.Based on the interview of government and the survey of farmers in Sichuan province (16 areas included),by analysis on survey data and the almanac data,the paper shows the main factors that course agriculture pollution and puts forward correlation suggestions.The main conclusions are drawn as follows:1,Fertilizer choosing behaviors are blindness and conformity mostly.64%of farmers choose N fertilizer as their commonly used fertilizer;2, means of fertilizer using is sometimes not reasonably,most N has out flowed;3,in most areas,the fertilizer(N,P fertilizer) amount and the fertilizer using structure are not reasonable.The writer has analyzed main factors that impact the fertilizer using behavior of farmers.Follows are Included:First,the factors about the farmers themselves,it include the farmers' literacy, agricultural technical training,and the level of per capita income is included.Second, institutional factors,include the policy of food security,policy of International Trade and fertilizer market,agricultural market access,the policy on Organic Fertilizer and Bio-fertilizer using.Third,cultural factors include the closed awareness of the region,the mutual comparison,farmers' poor knowledge about environment.Forth,economic factors are included;it is also the most important factor that impacts the farmers' fertilizer using behavior.In the last of the paper,the writer summarized and made the policy recommendations:First,cultivate more agricultural technical staff and improve the agricultural technical training mechanisms.Second,perfect the farmer training mechanisms.Third,strengthen the monitoring of agricultural market's management.Forth, perfect the ecological compensation mechanism.Fifth,set up a sound legal system on environmental protection.At the end of the paper,the writer drew the conclusion and pointes out the prospect research.
