Research On The Performance Of Poverty Alleviation By Tourism In Towns

Tourism poverty alleviation,as a new force for the realization of poverty alleviation strategic goals in China,has made gratifying achievements in many poverty-stricken areas.The country will complete the grand goal of comprehensively eradicating poverty by 2020 and plan to lift 17% of the impoverished population from poverty through the development of tourism during the“13th Five-Year Plan”period.Whether tourism poverty alleviation can achieve the expected task of poverty reduction as scheduled,whether it can ensure the poverty-stricken people can get rid of poverty and get rich,drive the economic and social development in poverty-stricken areas in an all-round way,and guarantee the ecological and environmental security in poverty-stricken areas,that is,how to treat the comprehensive performance problems of tourism poverty alleviation has become a social issue.The focus of common concern from all walks of life.This study uses the township scale to evaluate the spatial scale of tourism poverty alleviation performance.On the basis of sorting out the existing research literature,it builds a tourism poverty alleviation performance evaluation index system that covers three dimensions: tourism economic performance,tourism social performance,and tourism ecological performance.The evaluation indexes are based on the relevant statistical data of Huangshui Town and Xiannvshan Town of Shizhu County in2004-2016,and the entropy method is used to determine the weight values of the three dimensions and 11 evaluation indexes,and the comprehensive assessment is performed using multiple factors.The model measures the economic,social,ecological performance and overall performance of the two towns' tourism poverty alleviation.The results show that the two towns have the best economic performance in tourism poverty alleviation,followed by the ecological performance,and the lowest in social performance.The overall performance of tourism poverty alleviation is gradually reduced from a low level.Raised to the "higher" level,and Huangshui Town's tourism poverty alleviation performance is better than Fairy Hill Town.Relevance analysismethod and stepwise regression analysis method were used to explore the correlation between tourism poverty alleviation facilities investment,human resources investment,and ecological environmental protection input factors and tourism poverty alleviation performance,and then determine the key factors affecting tourism poverty alleviation performance,and found that tourism poverty alleviation The input factors are significantly positively correlated with their overall performance evaluation index.At the same time,the number of beds in Huangshui Town's tourism accommodation facilities,the amount of tourism real estate development in Xiannvshan Town,and the daily sewage treatment volume have a significant driving effect on the overall performance of tourism in poverty alleviation.Finally,this study focuses on the differences in tourism poverty alleviation performance and the causes of the two towns.It is necessary to strengthen the construction of tourism facilities,enhance the attractiveness of regional tourism,prevent tourism leakage,enhance the economic and social contribution of tourism to poverty alleviation,focus on the poor and enhance tourism.The social performance of poverty alleviation,tourism poverty alleviation and ecological protection will advance together,improve the ecological performance of tourism poverty alleviation,promote responsible tourism,and reduce the negative environmental impact of tourism activities in order to improve the performance of tourism poverty alleviation.
