Research On The Calculation Of The Poverty Alleviation Standard Line In Various Regions Of China

The issue of poverty has always been a focus issue for all countries.As a fast-developing developing country,China is reducing poverty and eliminating poverty.It is an important goal for us to fight for.At the Nineteenth National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping once said that to build a well-to-do society in an all-round way,one cannot be less;on the road to common prosperity,one cannot leave the team.In the past five years,China has achieved remarkable results in poverty alleviation.It is reported that at the end of 2012,there were nearly 100 million poor people in China.By the end of2017,there were 30.46 million people left.The number of people living in poverty was reduced by more than 68 million.The number of poor people was decreasing at an average annual rate of 13.7 million,and 8.3 million people were relocated to poverty alleviation.The incidence dropped from 10.2% to 3.1%.However,we must soberly realize that there are still many deficiencies in poverty eradication.We also face many difficulties and challenges,and the task of poverty alleviation is arduous.China is a country with a vast territory,vast land and abundant resources,and a large population.The economic foundations,cultural backgrounds,and resource endowments of various provinces,municipalities,and autonomous regions are very different.The price level in these areas is also not the same,but the standard line for poverty alleviation adopted in China is a Uniform standards,and it is obviously unreasonable to compare the poverty levels of various provinces and formulate relevant poverty alleviation policies through this unified poverty line.Therefore,this paper will calculate poverty alleviation standard lines in each province through the poverty purchasing power parity index(PPP)and the GEKS method,so as to truly reflect the level of poverty in each province,better implement accurate poverty alleviation strategies,and achieve poverty reduction as soon as possible.This article is divided into five chapters,and the general framework of the article is as follows: The first chapter will introduce the research background,research content,research significance,domestic and foreign literature review and innovation of this article,and make this article easy to understand.Introduction;the second chapter is the theoretical basis of this study.This chapter will provide a comprehensive overview of the development of poverty theory,summarize the existing poverty theory,and describe in detail the measurement method of the poverty line.The method used in the empiricalanalysis hopes that the chapter can provide readers with some theoretical knowledge about poverty;Chapter 3 mainly introduces the GEKS method for measuring poverty purchasing power parity index(Poverty PPP),which includes the theoretical basis of GEKS method and GEKS.The implementation steps of the method and the reasons for choosing GEKS method to calculate poverty PPP in this paper.The fourth chapter is the key and difficult point of this article.It mainly analyzes the development of poverty alleviation standard lines in all provinces and cities,and calculates the poverty alleviation standard line according to the price data of different regions,and the poverty alleviation standard lines and countries in each province and municipality.A unified analysis of the poverty alleviation standard line was conducted to try to reflect the true level of poverty in each province and city through the differences between provinces and cities,and then provide a reasonable social grant for the poor to achieve poverty.The fifth chapter is conclusions and policies.Suggest.Firstly,through the research and analysis of the previous chapters,the research conclusions are drawn.Secondly,combining with China's national conditions and current conditions,it is feasible to work out of poverty.
