Cotton in the Xinjiang "two black and white" three pillar industry is the only renewable resources,Xinjiang is also the main economic crops in agricultural production.The Xinjiang cotton high yield and high efficiency make it become the production base of China's large cotton,cotton yield has become the world,has a pivotal position in Xinjiang are output in the flower yield the country and the world cotton market.However,with the cotton planting area,to ensure that the cotton yield,yield efficiency,a large number of pesticides,the investment in the production of plastic sheeting,chemical fertilizer,agricultural water resources and fuel production,resulting in a waste of resources but also on the cotton industry in Xinjiang has caused many new environmental problems.The environmental problems faced in the production of cotton in Xinjiang,Xinjiang cotton cost and external environment evaluation analysis of Xinjiang cotton industry and the consumption of resources,the decoupling relationship between carbon emissions and to control cotton environmental costs,improve resource utilization,promote the sustainable development of Xinjiang cotton has important significance.This paper takes Xinjiang cotton as the research object,the environmental cost,the decoupling theory and other related theories,using the methods of literature research,summation,descriptive statistics analysis and model method.First,determine the elements of Xinjiang cotton of environmental cost,the establishment of environmental cost calculation model,and use the summation of accounting the environmental cost of nearly 15 years of cotton production in Xinjiang;and for the past 15 years,the environmental cost of cotton;followed by the use of inputs and cotton yield of cotton in Xinjiang environmental costs of each production element decoupling model to study the relationship between carbon emissions and cotton production in cotton production,and the economic growth of Xinjiang cotton industry and resource requirements,study the decoupling relationship between carbon emissions,can draw the following conclusions: first,the environmental cost of cotton in Xinjiang has nearly fifteen years of "rise drop-the trend of environmental cost;unit has nearly fifteen years of" down up down "trend;production environment the cost has nearly fifteen years of" up down up "trend,the environmental cost of water resources waste and chemical pollution accounted for the largest.Second,2000-2014 in nearly fifteen years during the period of water resource of Xinjiang cotton production and consumption of the overall volume of Xinjiang cotton production has a weak decoupling state;plastic film,chemical fertilizer Overall,agricultural pesticides,diesel and other inputs and Xinjiang cotton production increased connection decoupling of Xinjiang cotton production;and carbon emissions show expansive negative decoupling and growth connected.Third,according to the above analysis put forward the following four suggestions: one is to promote the cotton production cost efficiency,improve production efficiency;the two is even less than cotton crop rotation,rational adjustment of cotton planting structure;the three is to implement government policies and measures,to guide farmers environmental awareness;the four is both environmental protection and economic growth,promote the development of two types of agriculture.
