The coordinated economic development of the Bohai circle region has always been a hot issue in the society.Traditional research on urban economic linkages tends to focus only on the analysis of internal factors of urban economy, while ignoring the study of urban deprivation. This paper explores the negative impact of cities in the Bohai circle region on cities, namely the phenomenon of “concentrating shadows”,and fully grasps the impact of spatial deprivation factors on urban economic linkages. It is of great significance for understanding the spatial pattern of urban economic linkages from the perspective of spatial deprivation and enhance the practical operation of regional planning. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction part of this article.Firstly,it introduces the research background and significance of the thesis, combs the relevant research status at home and abroad, and then expounds the basic overview of the Bohai circle region, the research content and framework of the thesis. The second part elaborates on the basic theories related to urban economic linkages. It mainly includes urban spatial deprivation and economic linkages, and urban economic linkages mainly include four basic theories. The third part elaborates the main data sources, research methods and the selection of relevant index systems. The fourth part is the research part of space deprivation.Explain the mechanism of “space deprivation”,and evaluate the degree of attraction between cities from three aspects: urban accessibility, quality of urban comprehensive development and urban GDP level, laying a foundation for urban economic ties. The fifth part measures the intensity of economic linkages between urban agglomerations around the Bohai region. The sixth part is the conclusion part of this article. From the perspective of spatial deprivation, this paper is based on the relevant references about the definition of spatial scope and competitiveness of urban agglomeration at home and abroad.Based on the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” period, this paper includes a number of indicators in 28 prefecture-level cities, including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Central and South Liaoning, and Shandong Peninsula, mainly from employment, capital, quality of life, public services, transportation, and ecological environment.Comprehensive analysis is carried out to construct an urban deprivation index system.Firstly, the urban economic linkage is comprehensively expounded, and the principal component analysis method is used to calculate the comprehensive quality index of the cities around the Bohai Sea urban agglomeration;then the mechanism of urban spatial deprivation and its related influencing factors are analyzed;from the perspective of urban space deprivation,On the premise of the improved gravitational model, the spatial economic linkage intensity of the Bohai Sea urban agglomeration is analyzed; Finally, the correlation and fitting curve of spatial deprivation and urban economic linkage strength are analyzed.Based on the research results of urban accessibility and economic connection by domestic and foreign scholars, and integrate the development characteristics of the research area.Mainly draw the following conclusions.First, the“space deprivation”of regional urban economies has the characteristics of difference, persistence and spatiality, and the correlation with the intensity of urban economics is positively correlated with the waveform growth.Secondly, there is a positive proportional relationship between spatial deprivation and urban reachability. The negative shadow effect brought by the closer urban space deprivation is relatively large and the negative shadow effect brought by the closer urban space deprivation is greater.Space deprivation will show different characteristics and mechanisms of action along with the development of urban economy in different periods.Second, the intensity of economic ties between the cities around the Bohai Sea has increased significantly between 2013 and 2017.Among them,in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,Beijing,Tianjin and Baoding's economic linkages are in a leading position, and there is a clear gap between the development of other cities in the region. In central and southern Liaoning, the total economic linkages between Shenyang and Dalian are the most Significant, the gap in economic relations with other cities in the region has increased and polarized. In the Shandong Peninsula, the development of total economic linkages in cities is relatively stable, but the economic linkage strength of other cities is restricted by Qingdao and Jinan.Third, there is a obvious hierarchical phenomenon in the total amount of urban economic linkages.According to the total economic linkages, there are three levels: higher economic linkages(Level I),high economic linkages(Level II)and low economic linkages(Level III).Among them, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region maintained a stable and positive growth trend and the Grade I cities were developed from the original three cities(Beijing,Tianjin and Baoding)to the current seven cities(Beijing,Tianjin,Shijiazhuang,Tangshan,Baoding,Zhangzhou and Langfang). In the central and southern Liaoning region, the economic linkages between the cities of central and southern Liaoning have been significantly reduced in 2017,the cities of Shenyang,Dalian and Anshan have remained unchanged, and the external economic relations are in an optimal position. The economic intensity of Shandong Peninsula is the most stable in the region, and the cities of Grade I are the most stable. The development remains unchanged(Qingdao,Jinan,Yantai,Weifang),the development of Grade II cities(Zibo,Weihai)and Grade III cities(Dongying,Binzhou)is relatively balanced.Fourth, the best-fit model for the level of spatial deprivation and economic linkages from 2013 to 2017 is a quadratic curve.According to the comprehensive deviation rate of each city and the degree of correlation between the two, they are divided into three types: high deprivation level and high degree of association, medium deprivation level and medium correlation degree, low deprivation level and low correlation degree.
