FDI And The Impact Of Productive Service Industry Agglomeration On Urban Productivity

In recent years,with the transformation of the global economic structure,the obvious trend of service,and the government's strong support for the development of economic service,Jiangsu Province has also made policy adjustments to integrate the productive service industry into a "13th Five-Year Plan" period.The economic restructuring structure,the transfer mode and the focus of maintaining medium and high-speed growth,a series of new service industry clusters will be launched as the province's new economic growth point.Exploring the relationship between agglomeration of productive services and urban productivity has become a hot topic in academia.At the same time,the influx of FDI has brought more opportunities to the development of service industry in Jiangsu Province.The government and enterprises have gradually realized that the agglomeration effect generated by FDI through competitive effects and technology spillover effects of increasing the productivity of cities cannot be neglected,FDI itself can also cause a series of multiplier effects to contribute to economic development,and its externalities in the agglomeration economy can have a certain impact on urban productivity development.Therefore,this paper also uses FDI as one of the main analysis factors.This paper analyzes the impact of productive service industry agglomeration and FDI on urban productivity from different perspectives.The research content is divided into the following aspects:Firstly,it summarizes the classic theory at home and abroad from the existing research on agglomeration of productive service industry,the theory and influence mechanism of agglomeration effect,and the impact of FDI on urban productivity in agglomeration economy;secondly,on the basis of literature review,a brief overview of the mechanism of agglomeration of productive services and the mechanism of FDI affecting urban productivity by using Ciccone model;On the basis of the analysis,the production service industry agglomeration value and urban productivity value are measured,the variables are selected and the model is constructed.Based on the overall sample,this paper is different in interaction item processing,industry heterogeneity and regional difference.From the perspective of perspective,empirical analysis is carried out separately,in order to study the relationship between the three more objectively and quantitatively.The results show that,on the whole,FDI has a clear positive effect on the mechanism of the agglomeration of producer services in urban productivity.However,when it is divided into regions and sub-sectors,the effects of different regions are different,mainly in southern Jiangsu.FDI has a significant positive effect on the role of high-end producer service industry agglomeration in urban productivity,while low-end producer service industry agglomeration shows significant inhibition.The situation in North and Central Jiangsu is similar.FDI plays an obvious role in the agglomeration effect of the low-end producer service industry,while the high-end has a certain degree of inhibition.Finally,based on the above conclusions and reasons for formation,combined with the development requirements of the service industry in Jiangsu Province Proposed policy recommendations to improve the agglomeration of productive services and the introduction of FDI.
