Industry has made remarkable achievements since reform and opening up as a pillar industry of China's economic development.With the industrialization entering the middle and late stage,the development mode of high input,high consumption and heavy quantity expansion has been difficult to continue.To promote the quality and efficiency of the industrial economy,transformation and upgrading,and urgently need to rely on technological innovation to nurture and develop new kinetic energy.Meanwhile,the economic growth is derived from the increase of the input of production factors and the increase of total factor productivity.The core of the transformation of traditional industrial development is to improve its total factor productivity.Therefore,combined with the reality of China's industrial,it is of great practical significance to evaluate the total factor productivity of industrial innovation and analysis its influence factors.Taking the data of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises in China's provincial level as the research object,this thesis divided the industrial innovation activities into two phases of R&D and product transformation.Aiming at the shortage of traditional DEA method,this thesis constructed a network DEA-Malmquist index evaluation model based on both "optimistic" and "pessimistic" frontiers,and calculated the total factor productivity of industrial innovation at the provincial,three regional and national level in the period of 2007-2014,and the total factor productivity of industrial innovation in the two stages was divided into four growth modes at the provincial regions level,using the Tobit regression analysis model to quantitatively study the impact of internal and external factors of Chinese industry on the total factor productivity of industrial innovation.The thesis results show that:(1)At the provincial level,calculating based on the double frontier model,the average industrial innovation TFP increased by 3.40%in the R&D stage,the average industrial innovation TFP increased by2.15%in the stage of transformation,and the average industrial innovation TFP increased by 2.52%in the whole system,There are only nine areas achieving the high growth between two stages,and there is still much room for improvement in other areas.(2)At the three regional levels,industrial innovation TFP in the Central Region has the highest growth rate in the R&D phase,the eastern industrial innovation TFP is the highest in transformation stage and the overall system growth rate,large differences in industrial innovation TFP between different regions,the industrial innovation of TFP in the western region is most volatile during the inspection period.(3)At the national le?vel,overall industrial innovation TFP of the three different stages has increased in varying degrees,and their growth mainly depends on technological progress.(4)Foreign direct investment and foreign technology import have a positive effect on China's industrial innovation TFP.There is a significant negative correlation among human capital quality,production equipment level and domestic technology purchase on industrial innovation TFP,and the market concentration degree is not obvious to industrial innovation TFP.
