In recent years,due to the impact of national wealth growth and policy dividends,China's insurance industry has developed rapidly,and the potential demand of the insurance market is huge.However,due to the serious homogenization of product structure of insurance companies,competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce.As the main link of personnel management,performance appraisal guarantees the competitiveness of enterprises to a certain extent,and it is also one of the means for enterprises to achieve sustainable and healthy development of the overall business.This paper takes the salesman of H life insurance company as the research object,uses the relevant theory of modern performance management to analyze the job responsibilities and performance characteristics of salesman at all levels,analyses the current performance appraisal scheme of H life insurance company and its implementation,and points out the performance appraisal existing in the current performance appraisal scheme.The key problems such as the disjunction between nuclear objectives and company strategy,unreasonable setting of KPI indicators for salesmen are pointed out.The problems such as lack of effective communication and unreasonable application of assessment results in the implementation of performance appraisal schemes are pointed out.The emergence of these problems is analyzed from the aspects of ideological understanding,managerial competence and support and guarantee of organizational resources.The cause of the problem.On this basis,the current performance appraisal scheme and its implementation are put forward targeted improvement and safeguard measures.The research results of this paper have a certain practical value for improving the effectiveness of performance appraisal of H life insurance company,reducing the excessive loss of personnel,and ensuring the healthy and steady development of enterprises.
