The new flat panel display technology is an important support for the information industry and it has developed rapidly in recent years.With the advent of the mobile Internet era represented by new smart terminal products such as smart phones and tablet PCs,the demand for small and medium-sized display panels is growing rapidly.To seize this market opportunity,the TM Group,as a large state-owned enterprise,decided to establish the first new LTPS 6th generation production line in China in 2014.For such a heavy asset project with investment of 12 billion yuan,how to build,light and operate the production line quickly and realize mass production to occupy the market ahead of competitors is the most important task of the project team as well as the main issue discussed in this thesis.The construction of a LCD panel factory is a large-scale project with high technical difficulties,great investments and long cycles.In order to achieve the Group,s strategic goal of "the first lighting in China",the following three issues should be solved properly:firstly,there should be a comprehensive and professional pre-planning;secondly,a specific and rigorous schedule should be formulated;finally,an efficient and strict schedule control system should be established.For this purpose,the TM Group started to mobilize technical personnel from various manufacturing bases to establish a project team in 2014.Combining the construction experience of the 5.5th generation production line,the team applied the theoretical knowledge of project management to develop a complete and scientific schedule management plan for the "LTPS 6th Generation Production Line Lighting Project".During the planning period,innovative simulation tools are used to accurately calculate the project scale,output efficiency and resources needed,Using WBS to decompose project work,preparing the network plan,clarifying the key route,calculating the project duration,analyzing the target gap and formulating the risk plan.On the premise of the project budget and project quality,the team compresses the construction period rationally to meet the overall schedule requirements,and finally it formulated an executable project schedule.In the implementation stage,the project team took the "dynamic,cyclic,flexible" as the guiding ideology and established a schedule management system in line with its own reality.By using the Earned Value Method and the schedule management board,the team focused on the three key control points in the project process and promoted the project as planned.During the period,in order to match the construction progress of competitors,the lighting time was advanced many times.With solid technical reserves,flexible management system,the project team successfully achieved the goal and lighted up the first LTPS 6th generation production line in China.
